Greetings All, I am looking to run the One shot campaign from Chronicles number 15 and in the back in a train sketch with the train being 45 yards by 100 yards. How do this translate to the miniatures aspect in regards to inches and if it says somewhere in either the fated or fatemaster's almanac what page/where? Thanks

Greetings All, I recently looked into TTB and attempted to create a character. I gave this character necromancy but I am unsure how many spells he could have from the list. Is it determined somewhere in the Fated Almanac or can he have all of them in the necromancy list? thanks

Greetings All, Just a quick question for the sake of knowledge, is it possible to not reveal schemes like Breakthrough, Plant evidence, protect territory and still garner 3 points if u happen to have that many scheme markers in neccessary places? The rules state if you reveal them and you earn 2 you earn an additional one but what is stopping you from getting 3 since I don't believe anywhere it says if u dont reveal them u lose out on those points? Seems fairly straight forward but for clarification thought id post. Thank you

Greetings All, I had a game the other day where an interesting situation came up and i was unsure how to proceed. Essentially Rasputina was using December's curse shooting through an Ice golem(Ht 3) shooting at the steam trunk (Ht 1) which was directly behind a freikorps librarian (Ht 2). since I am not sure how elevation works exactly pertaining to the height of models and also Line of Sight given the circumstances we figured the shot was fine but gave it soft cover since something was in the way. So my question is does Ht have anything to do with Line of Sight and if not what does it pertain to besides perhaps rulings for things like devour or toss? Also what might have been the proper way to handle the above mentioned situation? Thank you

Greetins All, I played a game today where I deployed the Freikorps Trapper using its From the Shadows ability to put it in some terrain around the middle of the table. My opponent in response deployed a December Acolyte with the same ability within melee range. Since I couldn't find a rule to say this wasn't legal I allowed it. Is this possible or is there some rule about how far away a model must be deployed from another model? Thank you for responses

Greetings All, I'm relatively new to malifaux but have played a number of games now. When determining schemes the rulebook suggests flipping 2 cards and using the numbers and suits (common knowledge I know) however doing this you would get essentially get the suit schemes more often than any individual numbered one (again obvious information). My problem is that after a while the same 4 schemes get kinda boring so I've started flipping 4 cards and using one for suit and the other 3 for their numbered schemes in hopes of more variety. So my questions are firstly is the rulebook method the standard way that should be done to keep the game more balanced? My assumption is Wyrd would know that these suits would come up more often and as such I wonder if this is for a certain purpose, since after a while one might really get tired of seeing protect territory in every game. My next question is with the advent of the scheme and strategy deck on its way would it be more advantageous to use it and simply pull a random 4 cards from it to use as schemes? Since if the deck is designed as I believe with each scheme/strategy on a separate card then the suit schemes would then have the same chance of coming up as the numbered ones.
