Fair enough. I think I do like decaying aura over red chapel killer. What major weaknesses does this list have? Assuming proper terrain and a good opponent?

Anyone ever try it? Seems fun. I just picked up Seamus and 3 extra belles. I was thinking of: Seamus(Bag, haberdasher, rck) Sybelle (NTBU, lash) 3x Belle 3x Belle 1x nurse 4ss pool Though it has strengths and weaknesses, the list seems pretty all comers, being able to run schemes when necessary and lure selected enemies to their doom when desired.

I am thinking a Rusty Alyce gunline. Something like: Rusty Alyce, double trapper, Lazarus My only concern is low model count but I am hoping super high mobility makes up for it. Aionus seems like an awesome choice, too. He is effectively a free 12 PT model. But he only has a cache of 1, so you are investing some SS to get him to a playable range. He may be worth a go though. He seems super strong. Anyone ever have luck with Montressor?

Just curious who you think our best henchman is for a 25ss tournie. I am leaning toward Nix or Rusty Alyce, but am willing to hear any thoughts. Feel free to post a list too

To be clear, are you saying you cannot paralyze a model with Self Harm if they do not have a gun attack? The only thing that makes me think you can is that Mental Anguish, says "after succeeding" not "after damaging".

New to Neverborn and starting out with Pandora. Question: can you use Pandora's Self Harm attack to trigger Mental Anguish against a model without a shooting (gun) attack? It seems like you are targeting the model, not the gun attack, right? Seems awesome if you can, but not sure if it is allowed.

I played Tara for the first time yesterday and went 3-0 against Mei Fang, Shenlong and Jacob Lynch. I'm really digging her and can't really see what all the hate is about on some of these threads. I played her twice as Outcast Tara and once as Ressur Tara, both of which seemed to work really well. Nothing beast worked fine (and I didn't even realize he had a zero cost upgrade that cancelled damage). I agree alot of perhaps better models compete for his spot but he can certainly hold his own, especially when fast and used towards the end of the turn when he is most resilient. Plus positive initiative flips pretty much guarantees you'll get two solid turns of hitting out of him, which is all you can ask for from most beatstick models. Not mentioned yet (prolly cuz this is an Outcast forum ) is just how sick Bette Noire can be with Tara. She has quickly become one of my favorite leaders.

Can Tara use this action during her second activation? It came up yesterday since the card reads Tara may only do this action if she is "the first model to activate this turn." She WAS the first model to activate...

That's what I figured. Thanks. By the way, though. I just started the faction yesterday and I choose Molly as my first caster. She is fantastic! And Killjoy is amazing with her. He is a huge threat that just keeps healing himself. And Molly's ability to hand out negative flips makes him even harder to kill. What, in you guys' opinions, are the best things to raise with Molly? Spirits, Horros, Belles? Which ones?

After Killjoy is summoned into play via Molly's "The One's Left Behind" trickery, can he then be commanded to make a charge action via Molly's "Whispers of Future Flesh"? (0) Whispers of Future Flesh: Target other friendly Belle or Horror in 10" and LoS immediately performs a (1) action Killyjoy's Blood Price: When this models Activates, if it is not engaged, its first Action must be a Charge Action if there is a legal target available. Charges made this way are (1) Actions. I'm assuming this comes down to whether or not Killjoy needs to "activate" in order to perform the free (1) action that Whispers gives. Or, does this not work since the (1) action is not during his "actual" activation?

I have assembled, unpainted and with cards: Marcus, Myranda, Rattler, Cojo, Sabertooth, Jackalope, Dawn Serpent, 3x Silurids ( all plastic) 2x Canine Remains, Rattler (all metal) Played a few games and not my style. I am loving Ramos (have box set, swarms, and electric creation) and would like to dabble with other archanist things. I will accept trades of archanist models of same or even slightly lower value but I do prefer 2e models (unless unavailable).

For sure. I was just thinking of picking up a second. There have been times where the best thing Ramos had to do was summon an EC but there was already one on the board.

Can Ramos have more than one Electric Creation in play at a time if you take the Upgrade card that allows him to summon them?

So I am brand new to Malifaux and loving it so far. I chose Marcus and he has served my well in my first couple games. One question that has come up is the one I just posted as my topic. It doesn't say anywhere on the card that leap ignores disengaging strikes, but I am told that it does. Any insight into this? Thanks!
