Looks like I'll be playing as the bye player, so at least you'll get to best the tar out of me! I'll be at the Station Bar where the event is being held from 9 onwards setting up.

Like Joel said, the 12th was more of a guideline to give you guys something to aim for, no one will be penalised for late submission.

Sorry Joel, internet gremlins appear to have taken my reply. Should have sent by now. Clousseau, we're looking at a 4pm finish on the Sunday. Panzer, we usually have sports or whatever is on projected on a screen in the room, so it shouldn't be a problem.

We're ignoring the painting restriction for this event, all variations from the gaining grounds rules are listed in the first post of this thread.

Well we're now halfway full and I've seen the 3D renders of our new trophies, the excitement is really building. Anybody whose coming down the night before we'll be going for a meal and maybe a few drinks on the Friday evening so feel free to join us.

With the release of Gaining Grounds we'll be using the rules presented there, ignoring the strat and scheme rules on page 8. Rules for strategies and schemes and pool selection will be written in full in the first post of this thread.

It'll be great to have you guys along. There's no restriction on painting, however anyone who cannot field 50ss of painted models ( without upgrades) won't be eligible for the spot prizes being given away each round.
