  1. Having sammy with Wong so you can both take "Ooo Glowy" on Sammy, and "A Gremlin's Luck" on Wong is gold
  2. Well it seems like you all agree, and when even the new staff member speaks for your side, I guess I must admit defeat But in any case, I am always happy to learn new things even if it means I was wrong, so thanks for teaching me this
  3. But seeing as it does not say it explicitly, is it then after succeeding, or after damaging? I am also still a bit confused why it explicitly state the conditions on every other model, except this one. I am not saying you are wrong, I understand your reasoning... But it still seems very odd to me...
  4. It seems odd if that is the case, as this is the only action I have seen where it does not state the conditions from which he can do it, other then the target simply needs to be an enemy. In all other actions I have seen, it either States after succeeding, after damaging or after failing and resolving as you stated yourself. So if you are right, then this ability really needs to be rewritten, as what I say was the quick conclusion from my group when I started using it.
  5. It simply States that if the target of the action is an enemy, he gets an eyeball. It says nothing about "after succeeding" or "after damaging " like other abilities says.
  6. Much better with the 50SS, and I love to see some Dreamer action Two quick things though: 1. did you remember the terrifying check on the first teddy that died? 2. did you remember to give coppelius eyeballs when he charged Victoria of Ash? - because even though he did not succeed with his attacks, he still gets eyeballs as it simply requires the target to be an enemy, nothing else. Other then that I think the guy playing Dreamer was a bit to quick to get his crew up the board, and this coupled with the fact that there were very little terrain, meant that he were playing very much in Victorias favor, as she simply wants to kill things while the Dreamer (IMO) wants a bit more time to summon and setup his crew with more web markers etc. Even though I always play LCB Dreamer, I always try to summon at least 3Alps to tarpit and get my 3DD for WP debuffs. And why all the Twist Reality attacks? - unless you can paralyze her, or you want your nightmare models closer with the Feed on Dreams ability, I would personally never use it. If it is simply in an attempt to get LCB out, I would either cast Surrounded by Nightmares if I had a lot of models around, or in your case I would simply summon more stuff. And as a last note, I would personally favor On Dreaming Wings for Coppelius, as he always wants to run around- flanking, doing schemes and picking out easy targets, while Widow Weaver generally wants to hang out in the back and chill. Other then that I really love you guys videos, it is definitely some of the best batreps around, and I love you guys long time for doings lots of Neverborn stuff ^^
  7. I will be adding my finished pictures here: Lilith
  8. Disclaimer: I truly want people to criticize me all they can, I still have a long way to go, but I fully intend to win a Golden Demon in a couple of years. To do this I need your help! So please help me get better, and be as harsh as you want to be. As long as it is constructive, I welcome all critisisme! Greetings everyone! Seeing as I cant find my old painting thread(been quite a while since I have posted), I will start a new thread, which I hope I will keep a bit more active. I am actually still quite new to this hobby, Malifaux was my first miniature wargame and the first figures I painted- which means I have only been in this hobby for a little over a year(made my profile on this forum when I started). In this thread I will be showing the different models I paint, which will consist of Malifaux figures(Neverborn and Gremlins mostly) and some warmachine figures which I literally just started to play. But seeing as I have insisted on doing all the warmachine figures in NMM... and I have choosen "convergence of cyriss" which is ONLY metal figures, this might be a slow process ^^ I am still not sure if I should upload my old pictures, so people can see how my painting have evovled over time... so post here if that sounds interesting Link to my CoolMiniOrNot profile: http://www.coolminiornot.com/artist/Ikvar?browseid=10040240 Edit: Thought I would share how my little Hobby Corner looks like: Where I paint(really need to clean it up>>): My two new airbrushes, which I have not yet used, but I will be starting from today H&S Ultra: H&S Infinity CR-Plus: compressor: The first and latest figure I have painted is the Gracie model, which just won the single miniature contest. In this figure you can see how I am really starting to find the art direction I like to paint with, which is the high contrast and vibrant colours of the comic book style. I am however still so new to the hobby, which means I am also constantly learning an evolving my stile from every miniature I paint. Direct link to the picture on CoolMiniOrNot: http://www.coolminiornot.com/artist/Ikvar And many thanks to all who voted for it, it truly means a lot to me
  9. As a celebration for Rogue Trader getting more rooms and almost doubling in size, I will be running lots of Malifaux Demos for their Open House event. Hope to see you all there! 15:00 Denmark City: København Shop: Rogue Trader Phone: 27502776 Harsdorffsvej 8A, kl tv 1874 Frederiksberg C
  10. I am a very big fan of you guys, so thank you for making videos again! I am however not a very big fan of the 100ss format, as I watch Batreps to learn and apply the knowledge to my own games, which is a bit hard when you deviate so much from how a normal game would be. - and I love the top down view btw ^^
  11. I send my picture to wyrd yesterday for the competition, but after seeing the picture again on a lower resolution on one of my older monitors, I am suddenly in doubt if I should ask wyrd to change the seize of the image and make it a bit smaller. The monitor where I made the original picture is in 1920x1080, and the screen resolution on my other monitor is 1600x900. When I watched the picture on my older monitor, the picture looked way to big and the overall quality of the picture just looked far worse. I am very new to taking pictures of my figures, so I have no idea how you would normally do this?
  12. Well, if the Alps worked how I thought they would, you could do some pretty nifty things with Coppelius slow, and just hitting someone for medium damage from an Alp and some of his friends around. But if a model more or less ends up being immune to slow, after receiving slow just one time... Then I truly have no idea how or even why you would try to do an Alp bomb.
  13. So that seems like it would make the Alps a bit worse, as they are only able to apply their "smother" one time each round? - is this also how the rest of the Dreamer players have played it here?
  14. Thanks, but I am not asking if slow can stack though- but am I able to cast slow on a model which already have slow, simply replacing the old slow. If I am not able to do this, the Alps attack will be pretty useless on a model which already have slow. I know that they will not get slow +2 as I said in the other post, but it also seems weird if the model would be "immune" to slow attacks if it already have slow on it.
  15. I got a bit of a random question after playing with Coppelius the last time, but can you cheat the healing flip on his zero ability "Savor Delicacy"? Also, can a target get slow multiple times? I know they wont get slow +2, but would the new slow just replace the old one, meaning alps can dish out their passive damage multiple times? Also I know a Daydream cant cast "Lead Nightmare" two times on the same target, but can a different Nightmare just cast it on the target afterwards?
  16. I would personally never take Bad Juju without neither Eternal Fiend nor Swampfiends for the extra life, there are many better options for his cost and even more so in a dreamer crew.
  17. As I dont want to hijack the Pandora thread, I thought I would keep writing in this one. I got very inspired with the whole Barbaros together with WP crews, to make his "challenge" ability as annoying as possible ^^ I have been thinking about trying one of these crews: This one with a stiched as bodyguard: Neverborn Crew - 50 - Scrap The Dreamer -- 2 Pool +Restless Dreams [1] +Tantrum [2] Daydream [2] Barbaros [10] +Fears Given Form [1] Coppelius [8] +On Dreaming Wings [2] Insidious Madness [5] Insidious Madness [5] Stitched Together [6] Widow Weaver [8] And this one with a sorrow for even more WP shinanigens: Neverborn Crew - 50 - Scrap Barbaros with Sorrow for dmg on WP duels The Dreamer -- 3 Pool +Restless Dreams [1] +Tantrum [2] Daydream [2] Barbaros [10] +Fears Given Form [1] Coppelius [8] +On Dreaming Wings [2] Insidious Madness [5] Insidious Madness [5] Sorrow [5] Widow Weaver [8] So what are your thoughts on this, and how would you "maximise" Babaros potential in a Dreamer crew? - and is it even viable, or does it just look good on paper?
  18. I have been thinking about doing the exact same thing but just with the Dreamer, with all the WP debuffs and insidious madness where you have to discard a card to cheat WP stuff etc... the only problem is the fact that he is not a nightmare
  19. What about taking widow Weaver instead of Coppelius, and simply summon him during the game?
  20. So you would also recommend playing the summoning route when dealing with aoe crews?
  21. Holy hell, for some reason I thought it was minimum HT3 before you could claim vantage point... which I as a henchman have told everyone at the local gaming club... God this is embarrassing >> But thanks for clearing that up for me Joel ^^
  22. I thought about making a new thread for this, but thought it would be best to just keep it here. After a few matches I think I am getting the feel for the Dreamer, however I see most of my battles divided in two ways depending on who I fight against- crews who have lots of AOE stuff, and crews who dont. I am pretty comfortable fighting against crews with very little AOE, they are easy to tie up with lots of cheap models, wp debuffs and with the Alps smother etc. However I am struggling quite a lot against crews with lots of AOE, and even more so if the AOE is CA. So do anyone have a good tactic against crews like that?
  23. So the only thing a bodyguard for the dreamer can do, is to take lots of damage?there are no neat tricks or anything you can do, to make people not want to target the dreamer?
  24. Alright, so just to be sure- the enemy would not have to take the terrifying duel before he damages the first time, only if he gets some kind of trigger that makes him attack again, and this time only against the nightmare? - this would really hamper my hopes of a good nightmare bodyguard with terrifying :/
