  1. I won one with 20 people in it with Valedictorian Izamu 2 Belles. I think that was it, it was about a year ago.
  2. So I tried this out and had some fun. Got some weird looks. 35 ss Lilith Collodi 4 marionettes 3 wicked dolls 3 terror tots Basically the list involves transpositioning Collodi and a terror tot who has run up to engage then teleporting a storm of fast dolls. People tend to be so focused on L that they don't expect doll party from 2 feet away.
  3. Yeah I do some stupid things to my models, but I haven't had too much problem with breakage. Maybe I have a nimble and delicate gaming community here. (Knocks on the wood of my toothpicks, ahh crap)
  4. Man he is mobile. Played against Hoffman and a wall of armor that was immune to WP duels so I had to run a lot and just go for VP. It was fun as hell though. Tips vs him? He had Hoffman,Peacekeeper, The shield robot thing, the bat thing and the toolkit. I had, collodi, 2 stitched, 4 marionetes and 3 dolls.
  5. The spikes are toothpicks snipped and suck in green stuff. Yeah I was thinking I didn't like her mini, but I always seem to like them after painting them. Have the alt too, hmmm.
  6. Wip, just pretty happy with her face and now highlighting and detail with the rest.
  7. Still in the works, really enjoying these guys. Probably bloody up the Wicked Dolls a bit. I'm particularly happy with how the OSLO on the Stitched with the lantern is coming. Also, is there a convention to how people post minis on here? Is it by faction, master, mini?
  8. Little update. Just some details and such and done.
  9. Added some fingers and primed him.
  10. Added some detail and hair and a cool little hat. Sculpting is pretty fun. Enjoying my first time out.
  11. Made a little face and opened the robes.
  12. No color scheme yet. Open to ideas. Also considering starting over, had a crazy idea last night. Why is Collodi so tall? Cause he is a bunch of puppets standing on each others shoulders! I could do something similar to this and then have some puppet faces peeking out. Trying to work up the nerve to undo what I've done so far, especially since I just gesso'd it. ---------- Post added at 05:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:03 PM ---------- Yup gave him a Collodi C section. Here's one of his marionettes for size reference.
  13. Also wanted his arms to be a bit longer so made some cuffs to extend them a tad
  14. It's plumbing putty. Works like green stuff but cheaper. Sticks p.retty bad but so does green stuff
  15. Yeah went and cleaned it up. The weird angle is supposed to indicate unusual stuff going on under his clothes. Plan on going in an sanding a bit more to smooth it out. Also first time sculpting so any tips are mucho appreciated.
  16. So he needs to be tall as hell. Way creepier.
  17. I am primarily a Warmachine player. It will always be my first tabletop love. That said, it's scope is MUCH larger compared to Malifaux. It is more of an investment. Malifaux is much better for new players. Easy to get enough models for a rich gaming experience. Also it has a happier feel. WM/H is a flat out cut throat game that can end in a second, leaving you feeling like you got the rug pulled out from under you. Also the complete army activating on a turn leaves the other player just kind of standing there. Both can be detrimental to a new player. I always say when teaching WM\H that its never fun when it's not your turn. I just started Malifaux and its pretty fluffy. While it can be a brutal game to play its nowhere near the complete bloody mess Warmachine and Hordes can be. Again, I love that bloody mess, but Malifaux can be more casual and relaxed, which are both conducive to new players.
  18. Yeah on that close up I definitely agree on her face so I cleaned it up a tad, not amazing but a tad.
  19. So I made my first light box and am playing around with finally getting my mini collection photographed. Here's Raspy! oh yeah and it lights up ---------- Post added at 05:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:15 PM ---------- Here's a close up. Next is Snowstorm ---------- Post added at 06:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ---------- And here she/he/they are! This was super fun to make and the beastie was surprisingly well made. So far Wyrd is impressing me with their minis. And here I thought they were bad. Some detail love
  20. Yeah I'll write one. I gotta base the other freaks in her cult so I'll write up the next one up. Is there a specific spot to post it or just on this forum?
  21. Little update. Well took several steps real quick. Tried some wet blending on her clothes and cloak. I think it turned out pretty well. Then I attached her to the base, using epoxy and a small piece of the paperclip that was holding her. Then SNOW, cause that's fun too. It may not look like it, but she is secure as hell on there. Kind of a neat, flying effect. Just shade the red and her skin and seal her up.
  22. Some washes. This time, since I am trying to kick everything up a notch I did a dark purple on the reds and the blues and a chocolate brown over the trim. Also a bit of black on the skin and a very dark but on the lip.
  23. Ok really lightening the inside of the coat. I don't want it to be brighter, I want it paler so it's mixed heavily with straight white, which I rarely do.
  24. Yeah. Most of it is now encased in resin, so it's pretty safe. After it's done I'll throw a glaze varnish to dull the edges some. Adding some green.
