Rusty Alyce w/ named upgrade

Jakune

Drowned

Leaving 2 extra ss in my pool or is there an upgrade that Jakune should have?  Where does Creeping Terror go?  Is one drowned enough to make Jakune good?

So, how would this JD list look like at 35 ss as a first play test of JD?  JD+his 3 upgrades, LL, Jakune, Drowned, and *any of these three* Hanged/RustyAlyce/Hannah (to make tormented) or do I need a Guilty in the list to do that?

Also, does Writhing Torment (the aura that allows him to push an activating tormented) work on JD himself?

Spectre, can you elaborate on the "Ubume-Drowned package is too good"?

Stat - wise, it feels to me that Montressor is extremely squishy.  Is that true?

Just read the Pull My Finger on JD.  Very good points in there.  Ama and the Nurses are purchases I need to make.  Thanks for the input on the upgrades! I think I may try him this week, if I can get the models put together.

The poison stuff with Shen scares me kinda since it's poison and I don't really know how that combo you were talking about would work and then the uses of Yu with ShenLong, SF.

The can Companion a single 10T model, they hit pretty hard, they have an amazing push ability which gets them around difficult terrain and still allows them to attack, and their mask trigger allows you to place the hit opponent anywhere base to base with you.

i.e. Activate > Companion Misaki (or other heavy hitter) > Push its CG through or over terrain to just at 2 inches away > Attack it and cheat a mask so you get the Trip Trigger off > the model is hit with decent damage AND is placed behind the 10T bro now, base to base with it > Your companioned heavy hitter moves in for the kill.

Oh, it also has a bad-rear defensive stance, can cause terrifying, and some other cool things. For 5 SS.

Can the Misaki (Non-Master) merc work for any of the 10T crews as a 10T model (Save Misaki, of course)?

I would think so but I haven't found it written anywhere.

Yeah, I only play 10T but most of the people I know play him as a Rezzer and love him in that Capacity.

Side-note: Misaki is a good start to the 10T. Between Reckless and her Shadow...she's so fricken mobile and hits as hard as Ototo (who she brings also). Lol...I was playing against a guild player the other day and it was Ototo and a crap fate hand vs a Perdita with an awesome Fate hand and her retaliatory shots when I missed were F'ing me up down to where my Hard To Kill saved me. I spent my last AP on his healing flip, got it off, and flipped the red joker and healed all wounds. The opponent was so depressed lol.

I run 10T so with Yan Lo I take a Torakage, the above mentioned, and a torakage10T Bro / 10T Archer dependent on the Strat and faction of the opposition.

Are they characters in the game? I have only read that 10T book (Storm of Shadows) and I am cracking open my 3.5 year old original Malifaux rulebook to read the fluff so if she is in book 2 or 3 then I haven't gotten to her story yet

I am:

-helping with whatever Nilus has got me working

-setting up and tearing down

-building terrain so he have enough tables for Nilus' mad schemes

-playing in the cake match

-beating Nilus and his poor teammate in the team tourney.

-trying to coerce Nix into a game

-marveling at how much Vanessa actually looks like Vanessa

-hopefully get some Evil Baby orphanage games in

I believe they keep Registration running pretty late the first day, but Adepticon does not require a badge to be worn at all times anyways, only when actually in an event. So worse case you can come by for cake and a game and get your badge in the AM

Looks like I was wrong on the travel time so I won't be getting to Chicago until closer to 2230.

Hey everyone!

Who is going to Adepticon 2013 this year to compete in their events and what events are you looking forward to playing in?

The Masters still has slots and I was wondering, can anyone sign up for that? I thought "Masters" meant you had to earn your place to compete?

What about that Cake tournament? Do you have to make a cake to particpate? I am driving up (about 2.5 hours away) after work on Thursday so I am pretty sure I could make start time... Is it an actual tournament or just a free play event?

EDIT: I had ordered them under the impression that they were women with guns photographed in a pinup style.

I received the order and the deck has half of the ladies topless. To my recollection, it didn't mention that on the site when I had originally ordered them (I mean we, as dudes, usually will notice when something states nude content).

So I sleeved them and will use 'em in games against my buddies at the apt a time or two but have resigned to using my Wyrd deck for the game store, pick up games, and any tournaments I play in.

Still on the lookout for some cool personalized deck to use... (Because just like not using run of the mill dice, I like the idea of not having the same old deck as everyone else) Ya know, juju and all that gaming superstition.

How many players use card decks that aren't Wyrd? I.E. A deck of poker cards from your favorite casino or so on?

I recently ordered some cards that have some hot ladies and deadly handguns/rifles on them. They are poker playable cards and I sleeve my decks (because I can't stand ruining something I have paid for without protecting it).

What are the rules for other decks in Wyrd Official Tournaments (at cons and so forth) and how many other people use non-Mali/Wyrd decks?
