  1. Count me in; I'll be painting up my Misaki crew.
  2. Well I think its about time I updated this thread. Behold the results of my recent painting: Finished Lilitu and her twin Lelu: The Second Stitched: 3 Cheeky Alps A mature Nephilim Zoriada and her Voodoo Doll Bars Closed! A solo Collodi And finally my Bro-Hogan:
  3. I have been a bit tied up recently but I am back with some progress; first up is my finished Lelu: The full crew so far: Terrain As mentioned before I have been working on some terrain for my new board. Here are some WIP's for my 'Cabin in the Woods': Finished Cabin: Here are some more WIP's for my terrain. Malifaux's Dreadstone Blight: Tiered Cliff and Tree: Also for those who have been asking about the bases her are some pictures that show how I build them: I have also started on another crew: Just waiting on magnets:
  4. I am glad i popped on to check this thread; I've been listening to cast and throughly enjoying it. Your models are very nice and the riflemen in particular are looking great; basing seems to be a particular strong suit of yours.
  5. Why thank you very much; I think the highlights have come out strong on Tuco because of the dodgy lighting. I will endeavor to again take some better group shots. Yet another update, this time a stitched together:
  6. Ah yes; I mount minis on GW based for painting as I paint the bases separately.
  7. It seems your correct and I have been the victim of a misspack! Thanks for mentioning it; ill have to pop on eBay and get some ordered. I am not exactly sure what you mean here? By 'style' do you mean how they look? I don't see how these don't fit Malifaux as I've gone for a woodland look which fits Lilith's fluff. If you think the bases are GW ones then you are mistaken ; these are all Malifaux bases and you can tell by the downward curve.
  8. I am still plugging away at the crew so here is a quick picture of my Insidious Madness: Next up will be Tuco swiftly followed by 3 Stitched.
  9. Indeed; my set up is not the best as I can only really take pictures at night but its a hard model to pick up all the interesting areas. Nevertheless here is a better shot: Here is a re-shoot of my Doppelganger: And a group shot of the crew so far:
  10. I did a little more painting last night and I finished Coppelius: Sweetmeats anyone?
  11. ! You have definitely hit the nail on the head here! I have thoroughly enjoyed the fact I can sit down and paint a single model how I like without the pressure of a 5+ of the same model. Honestly I have never had any issues, as there tends to be so little area for 'wear and tear' on a base these don't tend to fall off. Sometimes however I do try attach one and you can tell its loose. A little dab of superglue sorts the problem.
  12. I will grab the light tent this weekend and take some better pictures (Doppelgänger especially). I have had an awful lot of fun painting the Neverborn and I would recommend it however my collection does now outstrip my number of painted models! Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been busy building a board and some terrain; ill post some completed photos in here shortly. Watch this space.
  13. Its always nice to hear some positive comments on my models and I happy with how they have some out so far. Now seeing as you have all been good boys and girls how about some Candy?
  14. Thanks for the comment on the teddy he was an awful lot of fun to paint. @Chris Cheers mate; I am sure they will be in my dead pile less frequently the more I play... Next up is my doppelganger: This is a very nice model to paint and I added a little more colour to the skin (I included elf flesh in the mix and a wash of thinned leviathan purple). Again please let me know what you think. Out of interest I am always playing around with the idea of doing some tutorials, is there anything I have done with this crew that anyone would like a step by step tutorial for?
