  1. It was Uhu glue, its rubbery and rather finicky, and dries quite fast but it does make a nice web
  2. Do I look like someone who cares about what God thinks? – Elizabeth Báthory This piece was inspired by Elizabeth Bathory, famous for bathing in the blood of innocents to retain her youthful and beauty. In the end, despite her best efforts, she couldn't hide what was truly on the inside.
  3. Don't worry, think it's going to be close one. Your snail is pretty great!
  4. Fighter from Kingdom Death. Tried to give her a bit of character by giving her a Kiss tattoo on her cleavage, which represents the round theme as well
  5. I know I haven't posted here in a while so I thought I'd make it up to you fine people with my newest Malifaux crew, Tara, Herald of obliteration! and some of her friends.
  6. I just finished up this fine lady and she will be featured in my first ever painting video. Coming soon!
  7. Thanks! @ChrisB76 I used Sulfuric yellow and Ordic olive from p3 for the skin tones, base coat of a mix of yellow and olive, then shade with olive, then a final shade with olive and black, could throw a touch of blue into the final shade if your feeling nifty!
  8. Just finished up some sky pirates and the old swamp witch. Zipp the leader of the pirates and two of his Iron Skeeters, with the witch,Zoraida.
  9. I do use a white primer and use two brush blending which is sort of similar to using washes. It's better since you can control how thick or thin your layers are then washes.
  10. Here's Sandeep and his wondrous little gamin friends, as well as some of his must have buddies like the mechanical rider or valedictorian! I used the concept art for inspiration for the paint scheme with the exception of the librarian who I painted up with the old school freikorps scheme.
  11. Reva with her loyal crew of murderous men. Malifaux always has enjoyable models to paint, and these are quite simple but elegant, nothing flashy but still stand out. The orange accents sort of remind me of revolutionaries who wore a color band or sash to mark their allegiance.
  12. Neverborn's Bayou mistress, Zoraida the swamp witch. The colour scheme was based off of Flemeth, from Dragon Age.
  13. Updated the picture to fit the contest rules (1mb) please delete the other one. Kingdom Death Butcher from their board game: Monster.
  14. @Tawg Unfortunately those are still not for me, their for a different client then the other gremlins but they are going to the same event this weekend. I hope they don't get their gremlins mixed up! Of my own I think I have a grand total of 5 gremlins painted, and they were all because of the Iron Painter.
  15. The brew master and his merry gang of drunkards. The moon shinobi were inspired by Kill Bill.
  16. DrEvilMonki: It's my favorite method of doing leathers and wood. I use P3 paints, start with a base coat of Sulfuric yellow then I shade with Bloodstone then shade with Umbral Umber. I use two brush so you start with the highlights then shade, hope that helps.
  17. Painted up these Bayou bandits. They were always fun to paint, wish these for myself. My own are sitting on the shelf still all sad and gray.
  18. Painted this crew up for Wyrd Games. It was a blast to do all the cloth and textures. I based the colour scheme off of the concept art. I did a painting article for this Octobers Wyrd Chronicles , check it out here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/195061/Wyrd-Chronicles--Ezine--Issue-26
  19. I painted up these so they would like toys, hence the very colourful palette . Though I think I may have inadvertently painted Sully from Monsters Inc.
  20. My latest commission, Izamu the Armour! The client wanted bright colors, OSL and NMM, I think I pulled it off with his colour scheme.
  21. This commission is a very special one because it's for Wyrd! This big guy will be at Wyrd's booth at Gen Con!
