I have also mailed you the results of the first Dutch Malifaux tournament. Thanks for adding them!

The #1 choice in my opinion is Desolation Engine. It has a 0 action that allows it to sacrifice any number of friendly models to heal itself. Walk twice and have it sacrifice all of its friends in range including itself. Bonus points if you can get the opposing master.
LOL! I so want to play against someone fielding this model now

Your crew looks super cool, man!
Keep up the painting I really like the wastral with its brown coat and white shirt!
-
When I select the first opponents and then generate round 1, the site makes its own pairings. This means I cannot simulate the previous tournament as the match-ups are wrong.
Also, for ease of entry the faction info could be a dropdown listbox.

Looking very good, played around with it a bit. Couldn't find anything wrong with it Just thinking I would be dead scared to accidentily close the window during the tournament, though.
Will look into it more closely and try to replicate my last tournament, see if all the calcs and stuff turn out the same as my own.
Thanks for making this, I feel a simple interface for simple tournaments is something I could very well use. Made my own Excel sheet now, but that was kinda complicated.
-
As simple as that? Guess I am just overthinking this one. Thanks for the reply!

A simple question that came up today: does Accomplice (or Companion) require LoS? The rules state that everything that has a target needs LoS (unless otherwise stated). Accomplice/Companion don't use the word 'target', but it requires another model within range.
Am I right to assume it's intended Accomplice/Companion requires LoS, or doesn't it?
If someone can explain why it's one or the other it would be most appreciated. I can't seem to find helpful info regarding to this question in the FAQ.

I couldn't play one master exclusively, being the Pokemon master that I am. Currently I am running Molly, prepping Marcus, and thinking about Neverborn. The only way I would play one master, is if there was only one!

Next Sunday is the day! We got the first and biggest NL M2E tournament upcoming, and a lot of people are putting practice in to acquire that much covetted prize! Feel free to join, and know that there will be a separate Peon Tournament for the newer players (we have a lot of new(er) players around here)!
See you sunday. IT IS ON!

Looking very good! Especially the first Waldgeist looks omnious. Bookmarking this thread (and your blog) for my own Marcus inspiration

Thanks all for the insight! There isnt a collective Molly tactica (yet), so this thread gave me some pointers
Also want to add the Schemes and Stones show about Molly as background material when you try to up your plan (also Horror perspective): http://schemesandstones.podbean.com/e/master-spotlight-molly-squidpiddge/

And I found the link to the first article here: http://handcannononline.com/blog/2012/08/31/a-beginners-guide-to-beginning-colour-theory-by-someone-who-was-never-taught-art/
*puts on reading glasses*

I will check out handcanon online; odd name, that.
Thanks drga!

Thanks for the headsup on the forums! Might have missed the podcast otherwise. Going to listen to it; sounds like an interesting take on a podcast, and love it when things arent as black/white ranked, but more discussion based.
Would have loved the Valedictorian to be included though! And as rezzer Hannah is already on my wishlist (but want the TtB one, but that's so expensive!).
-
Going to hijack this with your comment, @dgraz. You mention colour theory, would you have a good (online) pointer where to get some basic info on that? So far it has eluded me! And with me preparing for Marcus I really want to make them pop!
-
Looking very good! It looks like a coherent crew, and purple is always one of my favorite colours

I've got the Marcus video if someone tells me how to upload it... It's the best!
I am very curious for this video! Can you upload it on youtube?
-
Thanks for sharing! I can see the different effects, but don't really understand what the difference between the techniques 'layering' and 'glazing' is. Is it that you thin your paints more for glazing, or is there something else?
-
I second Ludvig's post: love your blog, and can;t get enough!
IMO its (one of) the best blog(s) out there!
-
I am starting out a Marcus crew, and this thread has been very inspiring, Sybarite!
If there's anything to comment on, it;'s that the links in your signature aren't working as they are still using the old url for the forums.
Really great painting, and wish you lived close so you could tutor me The Razorspine Rattler looks most amazing of all! Intend to spend ages painting mine

I have added a blog as well, starting Marcus!

Nice! Also a great way to discover those Malifaux blogs; the world needs more of those!
