  1. No I stopped using varnish years ago. It’s easy to ruin a model with varnish. And I very rarely play with them. ---------- Post added at 09:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:43 AM ---------- They available from Wayland Games, directly from GCT Studios, or Leisure Games. Glad you liked Bushido range. This is what I’m brining to Salute 2013
  2. Yes the tattoo and the waves on his cloths is all freehand.
  3. There’s a Bushido painting contest on Facebook. This is my entry for it. To see the rest of the entries check the link. http://www.facebook.com/gctbushido And don’t forget to vote for your favourite in a pole below the images. Also share and like the contest.
  4. Not exactly. First I did what you said, made line of putty and scored it with a knife. But then I press moulded it so scored marks became raised areas.
  5. Finished Cassandra. Just need some mechanical doves and Colette’s gang is done.
  6. Mannequins. One of them was miscast. Had to carve chunks of metal out of the dress. Pain in the…. Neck.
  7. Just painted this Blessed of December. I used plastic zombie by Manic to make the frozen corpse.
  8. Hello Ratty. Regarding your post in my thread. Sorry no Nezumi in near future. I need to paint 3 Kairai and The Puppet Master before I start thinking of Nezumi and Gengo. But here’s a picture of Scaven Warlock Engineer. That should make you feel better. whf008.JPG

  9. Finished Colette du Bois. She’s standing on automated steam punk beer barrel. Does that make cense? Oh and neon sign behind her says Bar.
  10. Just finished The Dreamer, Avatar of Imagination. I thought putting this portal like miniature on top of warped Victorian stairs would add to the composition. Notice a rag doll and a teddy bear are been blown away by the wind coming out of the portal. Scroll down to see unpainted version so you can see what was sculpted. I used milliput yellow grey. Finally there’s a picture of unpainted blessed of December. The corpse she’s holing is taken from mantic zombie sprue.
  11. Here’s Rasputina, Avatar of Famine. Took me a while this one. I cut one of the legs at the knee, and glued it back at an angle, to make the pose more dynamic. I also extended his other leg to make him look like his growing out of his scenic base. Like walking avalanche.
  12. I slapped some milliput in the areas where snow was supposed to be. Made it a bit textured with a sculpting tool. Painted it white. Applied some very light washes blue and brown. Dry bushed it white. Applied some more washes and dry bushed it white again. And that’s how I did it. ---------- Post added at 12:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:37 PM ---------- Here’s some of my best Bushido miniatures. If you want to see the rest of my Bushido range see my thread on Bushido Forum. http://www.bushido-thegame.com/forum/duck21-41-3
  13. I don’t know. This is a Malifaux forum. If the moderators are ok with it I’ll do it. Is anyone else wants to see my Bushido miniatures here? ---------- Post added at 09:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:37 AM ---------- Did someone said snow? How about this. Just painted my Silent One. The base is made from milliput including the snow.
  14. Here’s Rasputina the Ice Witch. Next I’m painting Silent One fallowed by Rasputina avatar of famine.
  15. So how many posts you actually need to make, before you can post normally.
  16. Just starting Malifaux. I will be posting pictures of all of my completed miniatures and some progress shots here. Here’s my first 2 miniatures: Rami LaCroix, and Converted Lelu. The bases are made from milliput.
