  1. So the re-released rulebook has the same WYD number as the rules manual?
  2. I end up buying both, I love the fluff, but i use the rules manual to seduce others to the game mechanics
  3. Umm so i just got back into the game and the rulebook full of awesome fluff is sold out and has disappeared? Does anyone know if they have plans to release it again?
  4. I believe the one in the middle is called allure, I tend to stick with bicycle for qualities sake. That deck is pretty sweet, but can see the suits getting mixed up. I am currently looking for a quality company to help me create my own decks using the correct suits.
  5. For those like myself that like to stand apart, I created this thread to post the decks of cards they like to use Personally I go with one of the following:
  6. Keep a weather eye on ebay and most of the time if you want something it will pop up. I am in the same boat with the special fate deck given out to those who backed the TTB kickstarter. Win some lose some
  7. The models are great no doubt, but I do penalize them heavily on their fragility. honestly I would rather have a more solid less dynamic model than the other way round. Lucas is being difficult with my normal methods of model storage. I had to re-glue the chains on the bald wastrel three times for it to stick... Unless its for display only they have to be more solid or you get the Will Smith in Men in Black "I feel like I'm gonna break this damn thing."
  8. Agreed I would rather have models that I would be able to throw at my opponent and do some damage should I lose the game. Sportmanship smortsmanship
  9. Personally I am an old school gamer and I prefer metal, it give the model that heft that makes it feel worth it. Some models imho should have been done metal eg. Both Lucas Mccabes, who are a very dainty 'don't breath on him wrong or he will break model' I don't see any reason why they wouldn't continue to release blisters in the future even if the models are done in plastic, worked for GW and that finecrap stuff.
  10. Just got back into miniature wargaming and I have to say I remember why I had to take such a long hiatus. With roomates (space issues) and work I spend so much time away from the hobby. Just want to paint my models! Anyone else find it hard to keep the hobby alive?
  11. Right there with you I'm glad I noticed the new edition coming out before I went on a buying rampage like I usually do in a new hobby...
  12. Is the online store not loading for anyone else? been like this since friday for me...
  13. If anyone has a spare or is willing to sell I'm dying to get my hands on one of these decks
  14. Awesome Possum thanks for the update
  15. I'm really happy they are moving to plastic instead of that finecast crap they are peddling over at GamesWorkshop. I'll always be a metal man, but plastic is my second choice.
  16. Hello all, Just recently got the Malifaux bug again and jumped back into the hobby. Looks like just in time to brush up before 2E. I love the fluff, the feel and the intriguing game rules. On a side note I was wondering if the store is typically out of stock on so many items?
  17. Malifaux is my new happy place I love what i saw on the website and due to GW's inability to set prices normal people can afford i hope to stay awhile. I do have a question, I am a massive fluff junkie and could not seem to order the fluff filled goodness that is the original rulebook. My FLGS told me that a new edition was being released which made it moot to order the old one. However I cannot seem to find any news of a new edition, so i actually have two questions. 1) is there somewhere that i have not yet to find with all of the original fluff? and 2) is there a new edition coming out or is it another expansion book? Phew thats a lot from a newbie but any info is appreciated! I look forward to all the awesomeness that Malifaux has to offer
