  1. Thanks, I'm actually very glad I was wrong. I think my friend and few other players at the store will be very glad about this rule clarification.
  2. During a game today between Lucius and Viktoria the question of "If a model with Finish the Job can drop a Scheme Marker when it dies within 4 inches of another friendly scheme marker?" we ultimately decided to play as written in the rules for normal markers, but was I accurate to go by the General (1) Interact rules for scheme markers?
  3. Mark me down as Outcast and hopefully i'll be able to join you next session

  6. I just recently shipped a whole 40k army with foam peanuts layered over individually bubble wrapped minis. It took awhile to do, but they were very safe. the sturdier and more padding the box has the better. I wouldn't stock up on boxes until you have an idea of how much each customer wants. I have a friend who works for a shipping company and lets just say that the boxes are pretty man handled so more protection the better.

  12. Thank you very much. That cleared up my confusion
  13. I just ran my first game of Through the Breach tonight with my group and i used the Malifaux Skirmish Rules dictated on page 122 of the Fatemasters Almanac. I interpreted the rules as that each Fated player would flip, and draw from their twist decks instead of the Communal fate deck for attacks and defense. I, the FM, would have my own deck and treat my NPC's as a normal crew drawing and cheating for them normally. Another experienced M2E player brought it to my attention that my interpretation was incorrect and that the Fated players would flip from the communal fate deck for attacks, defense, and damage, but cheat from their hand as normal. Which interpretation of the rules is correct, because i'm having a hard time figuring it out. To clarify my question, when using M2E Skrimish Rules in TTB do players flip for attack, defense, and damage from their 13 card twist deck and cheat with their 3 card hand or do they flip for attack, defense and damage from a communal deck and cheat from their 3 card hand? Rules As Written on page 122: Twist Decks: Each player will draw cards from their own Twist deck instead of the communal Fate Deck. This is the main advantage that the players have over the Fatemaster. Their maximum hand size is three, however. They otherwise are each treated as a player within the M2E game rules, discarding and drawing cards as normal. when the rules require a Fated character to "discard a card," for instance, it is the fated character's player that will discard the card.

  23. I'm kicking myself for having to ask this, but i've just started malifaux after almost a 5 week vacation frin it. If a model is harmless and an enemy targets it; does the enemy have to make a harmless check for each attack or just the initial? I know for terrifying you only have to make the first check then you're good for the whole activation.
  24. Worth the investment is hard to say, but they are pretty fun to take. They do cost 1 soulstone extra because jack daw allows you hire them, but not avoid the out of faction cost. For a crew led by viks, the fact they create so many morale duels means you have increased oppurtunity to use the Sisters in Victory spell. I'd say try it out and see what happens. It makes for a fairly fun list, but remember to becareful of the black joker, it'll put the hanged or jack daw in your opponents control.
