Where is our Resser girl? Kirai is not a true Resser; I love her spirits but I want Canine Remains and Punk Zombies, Necropunks, Night Terrors, etc....... What about a Female Henchman or Master that has access to all of the minions the other Ressers do? Possible options: A) Why not expand Molly's list and/or allow her to take any undead at a 1 SS extra cost? Bring another Master in that is a Female Resser. I know I am not the first to post this and I know the Ressers need a boost and I think that instead of doing errata like crazy, why not bring in someone that is already "fixed"? I am not a fan of totems carrying the extra suit only because, if you ever played Ramos, the totem is the first thing to die and you just wasted 2-4 SS and you are back to square one. It is a good option to add to the Carrion Effigy to make it a more alluring choice but is far from a summon fix. Ressers summon - that is all they have. Why should they not be able to do it easily? Maybe, if you do not fix the suit, raise their Ca so there is a better chance of pulling the card they need. All ideas form a guy who really wants to join the ranks of the Ressers but sees more viability in Neverborn and Guild. I have Canine Remains that just sit on my shelf, waiting ..............

Watchers are better than Night Terrors for two reasons: 1) Battlefield Knowledge: You can ruin a lot of plans by making your opponent start all of his minions in their deployment zone even if they had an ability that allowed them to start elsewhere. 2) Foward Observer and Forewarned: Deck manipulation wins games. Top that off with Flight and Wk7 and you have someone who gets to objectives quickly and has some tricks to spare. Also, don't forget cover modifier negation and Terrifying/Harmless/Pitiful negation if you take a shot at someone with a range of 16. Horrible damage, yes, but you did not bring him for that. He is worth 3 SS to me just sitting in the deployment zone, preventing my opponent from deploying outside their zone, and making sure those top two cards are not Aces or a Black Joker. I have sent that Black Joker to the bottom of the deck many times. Play an entire game without flipping the Black Joker: priceless.

Kaeris is SO tempting: she looks awesome. I wish she had more choices for minions herself; I would run her without Raspy if her crew was a little more solid.

Why not the animals? I see them adding speed and that is the only situation where more than 5 soulstones is worth it to me. What is so terrible about the Hoarcat and Rattler? Again, thanks for the info!

Ok, I have proxied Raspy for four games and I think am getting used to her playstyle and I might be ready to move the relationship to next level. All you Rasputina lovers out there, I need your wisdom. I am not interested in the starter box for two reasons: I really like the energy of the alt. sculpt and I think the ice golem is way too expensive considering I usually only play 25 soulstone games with occasional 35 soulstone scraps. I am in love with the ice gamin and mole men and that mix is devestating with Raspy's December's Curse. Bouncing blasts off of 3 and 4 soulstone minions is a bit cold-hearted but it fits her. With the Dug-in/December's Curse, I feel a little bad about doing it but when Lilith charges me and kills me in one activation ( Def 3, really?), I forget how bad I felt just destroying 2 young neph, 1 terror tot , and forcing Lilith to burn through her four soulstones to survive the blasts. So, Alt. Rspy, one blister of mole men, one blister of ice gamin...........and what else? What is missing that would make her a better Master. I have read the PullMyFinger wiki and it suggests the Silent One: one, two, or pass? I am not taking a totem, I prefer the soulstones. Is that a better way to go: not having to worry about protecting it and getting two soulstones for Overpower buffing? How about the Hoarcat and Rattler? Are they going to be terrible or could they be fun to change the line-up a bit? Looking foward to the Blessed coming out, is she any good? Who else? Remember, I do not want to spend more than 8 soulstones on a minion, but probably want minions that cost 6 soulstones or less. All thoughts and experiences welcome.

I wanted people to know that in North Charlotte, HobbyTownUSA has tables available on Mondays for Malifaux. Right now only 3-5 people are going between the hours of 6 and 8pm (when the store closes). It would be nice to get more people over here and get a Malifaux presence in Charlotte. Also, anyone in the Charlotte area, let me know who you are and what times you are available to play because we can always try to expand the venue or find other venues. Charlotte Malifaux players need to unite!

Hello, everyone. I just received Lady Justice Starter pack, Guild Hounds, Scales of Justice, and a Watcher from Amazon. I have agonized for two months over what Master to start with and even though Outcast and Neverborn appealed to me (then Resurrectionist, then Arcanist - it was a tumultuous two months to say the least), there seems to be an overwhelming rush for those Factions and their "over-powered" Masters. Even though the fluff makes the Guild out to be Big Brother fascists, I find myself liking Lady J, Perdita, and Sonnia. Speaking of which, I just ordered Perdita and I am thinking about adding Sonnia next........ or maybe some Ressers....... perhaps Levi......or ....... TOO MANY CHOICES! Anywho, Are there any players in the Charlotte area? I live in University City and I know of one place in Huntersville that has periodic meetings, but are there other options as well? Any and all hints, tips, appeals to consider other Factions, and Scrap invites are welcome. Everyone here seems cool and I look foward to talking with you.
