  1. So thats the official word ? So in shared claim jump at 30 stones I can take 7 crooligans and (as long as I follow the 3 steps above) sit them in my opponents deployment zone till turn 6 for full point ? Am i missing some thing ?

  3. If thats right then cooligans that opt to use there "from the shadows" ability can start in....your deployment zone 6" on! AWESOME !!!! More reasons not to take the poor little Blighters !
  4. Having not been playing long I have booked my first tourney and am getting ready to get my botty kicked ! Thanks to every one on the society of Scottish malifools face book group for your help and putting up with my daft questions ! Now ..my querie .. Crooligans on there card say they can be set up 12" away from any objective of a strategy or scheme and cant be targeted till they do something other that pass. In shared turf war you can get points for being in your opponnents deployment zone, and there half of the table. So can crooligans only start 12" away from the table center or any where they like ? IS your opponents deployment zone and table half considered an objective ?
  5. hello Everyone ! OK in the rules manual page 39 it shows a model with a 2" Melee range engaged with a model with a 1" melee range it says that the model with the 2" range can hit the model with the one inch range but can not be hit by that model.Thats fine and dandy my question is......What options are open to the model with the one inch range ? It would need to flip to disengage ( page 38 ) But can I think by reading page 36 that it can charge or it could walk an inch and attack. It just seems odd that you can be engaged and charge in the that turn ... Is that right ????
  6. I want to build a good 25 ss Von Schill list. The box seems the easy way to go ..is there anything in the box set that is not worth having ? What would you take for a kick-ass 25ss list for Von Schill ? Thanks !
  7. I use black primer then bleached bone then a wash of thraka green then a wash of bal red that highlight with bleached bone It looks great and is quite easy to put on.

For me ( i am pretty new ! ) punk zombies are great with nic because with bolster undead they get a CB of 9.... that right NINE ! on paired weapons.. with a trigger for rot and flurry and hard to wound and slow to die and a DF of 7 and a 7" charge They are pretty awesome considering nic can get them for free...Even at 5 stones they are great.
  10. WOW ! von chil sounds great ! Think I will pick him up as he sounds awesome Even if I don't get his box !! Just looking at the con chill model....he is SO getting painted like hulk hogan brother !! love the mullet ! Thanks for the advice guys ! So what do you need to add to the levi box to make him playable ? What other models from different factions do you guys use ? Is there any other tricks I am missing ?

As far as I can figure it out taking nic with or without von schill himself you can use any thing in the von schill box Taking nic without levi you can use the steam punk abominations which you get four of. Not sure if you can take levi and nic as ratty's crew creator wont let you pic him as a second master. That only leaves me to say that as for as i can tell the von schill box is good to go as is. SO.... What extras do you need to make levi work ? Do any of you guys use the steam punk abominations in your ressers crew ?   14. I have been playing Malifaux and enjoying it , 2 buddies of mine also bought in. Now, I have been playing ressers and have the molly , nic and seamus boxes , and my mates have the viks the ortegas and the show girls. I have a forth friend who plays 40k and I want to get him in to malifaux , So i want to buy a non resser box set to play a few games with him with BUT I want one that I can use with my ressers masters when we are done , I am thinking either levi or von schill . Before you say " use the models you have " I dont like the idea of introducing someone to the game with resser V resser ... it would give the impression that the whole game is dependent on corpse Counters. Nic can use undead from any faction so i am open to any suggestions. Cheers !

  17. Hello ! Been playing nic for a while ( great idea !) , then i got Bette noir (good idea ! ),Then I got the Molly boxset ( Bad Idea ! ). Now I have The Seamus box set on its way to me and was trying to figure this out , first with the models I have what do you think is my best build for a 25ss crew ? And IF molly casts "imbue vigor " on a belle they get +3 on there walk. If a belle starts within 4" of molly they get +2 on there Walk. IF a belle starts within 8" of Seamus they get +2 on there walk. Because these all come from different sources do they stack ? Could a belle really have a +7" on there walk ? seems extreme but a belle could move 22" in a turn. Thanks guys

The rule for terrifying says "make a morale duel when...Enter a terrifying effect range" So...a terrifying model EG molly with the gorgons tear, moves in to range of an enemy , dose the model take a test ? The reason I ask is I have just finished a game and molly walked in to range and we couldnt decide if it worked because the other model (pa pa loco) did not walk in to range and therefore did not willfully enter it.

  20. the crux of my question is this, If molly is with able to do 2 zero actions she could use the first one to steal "exhume" from mort with "whispered secret" then use a 1 action to call the counter THEN steal reaninator from nic and place a punk zombie on the table. So you could have the 3 of them pumping out 2 models per turn OR a rouge necromancy by the end of turn 2. Is this legit or have i missed some thing ?
  21. Thanks thats given my something else to think about... Necros or crooligans ? As say i have no access to the crooligans stats but I am just not to keen on the necro punk models ! I think they are a bit too cartoony , a little bit too mishappen, and the crooligans models do look nice.
  22. Thanks for the reply ... Y eah the necro punks look good and are cheap points wise . But I dont think that having to tie them to within 10" of nic to get bolster undead is the best way to play them when there whole thing is speed. ( im not an expert thought !! ) Punk zombies also have flurry and can stay within the 10" with out losing much..Just a thought !
