  2. Updated with an additional miniature thrown into the deal!
  3. Updated with some 'stretch goals' a la kickstarter
  4. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Malifaux-Charity-McMourning-Auction-Support-the-Malifools-/330775026209?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item4d03ba5a21#ht_500wt_922 Hi all, please visit and bid on this to support an event arranged by Malifool Jon (aka Scuttlebut).
  5. Ooooo....could be the inspiration I need to get Collette and the girls done...
  6. Having more fun with lightning, have tried to change standard Ramos' pose of 'Oh, my fingers are on fire' to some thing more electrical. Also, never liked aRamos' cartoony arc of magic/fire so have given him the same treatment. Will post a piccie of the whole crew soon but strangely, it keeps growing!
  7. As the aforementioned Ramos player, it was a really good game and although I lost, it was a great learning opportunity for my first use of aRamos. I'm slightly in love with an old man with spider legs!
  8. Turn 1 - Ramos makes scrap, summons EC and SPA, Alyce loiters with intent Turn 2 - Ramos makes scrap, summons spider Alyce casts Burnout to reavtivate him aRamos arrives. Does his wounds reduce, or because he is manifested before the closing phase, does he discard the 'effect'?
  9. Thanks, the bases were an ebay purchase from Tiny Worlds Wargaming. Hoping to use the same technique for my aRamos.
  10. Been a while since I finished any new stuff for Ramos' crew but have made some recent progress. Every Ramos crew needs an Electrical Creation, and like many I didnt like the cartoon style lightning bolts. I know using wire to represent the arcing electricity isnt a new idea but I am very happy with how mine came out.......
  11. Gents, Have played a few games of Malifaux and am about to embark on a 35ss league. I have Ramos as my primary Leader and have the following available - Ramos Large SP Arachnid Steamborg lots of SP Arachnids (magnetised so no problems there) Mechanical Rider (proxy) Mobile Toolkit Brass Arachnid Electrical Creation Rusty Alyce Any 'gimme' thoughts for crew building? Likely to end up facing most of the other factions and masters through the league and no fixed lists so can flex the list based upon opponent and scheme/strat. Thinking of making a proxy for a Guild Guardian and maybe Lazarus (although have yet to his rules).
  12. Started work on some scrap counters using old bits of technic lego
  13. Addy is actually - http://www.easternfrontwargames.co.uk/ No viagra required!!!!
  14. Finished the rest of the magnetised spiders... Plans afoot for some other stuff can be seen on my blog: http://penetratinghit.blogspot.co.uk/
  15. Standard thinners, as goid as paint stripper but not as nasty to skin
  16. Looks great, even better given the time spent - awesome job
  17. Hi all, I bought the Ramos set a while back based on the aesthetic alone. It sat for quite a few months before I joined a club with a good Malifaux presence. It has led to the purchase of the Levi box too! This is what I have got done so far.... Have magnetised the arachnids, got 6 more to do.... Currently considering conversions for the Mechanical Rider and Guardian to allow me to keep everything in Ramos' crew 'spider like'. Check out my blog here - http://penetratinghit.blogspot.co.uk/
  18. Crew finished. Decided to revisit the basing as the 'urban' look that I was going for was washing out the metallics. Ramos & Brass Arachnid with Steampunk Archachnid swarm Large Steampunk archnid with smaller siblings Steamborg Executioner with arachnids The whole crew
  19. Having bought my Malifaux crew a while back, a lack of gaming saw them left in sealed packs. A recent trip to a new club has seen paint applied! Lots more spidery things to do......
