    He's referring to this thread:

Basically he got called out in the nicest way possible for referring to Wyrd as a D-List company for issues that were not their fault and out of their control, and then proceeded to demand Wyrd find another distributor, despite not knowing how distribution of games works, or how much the field is a monopoly of companies who aren't liable for their own mistakes.

OT: The delays are obnoxious, and waiting for releases and updates can get old fast. That said, the majority of the issues are outside of Wyrd's control, and I'm not about to bust their chops for doing their best to be as forthright and communicative as possible about them.

Got it, it was intentionally misinterpreting what it was that Nathan said. No wonder I couldn't find that wording. Thanks.

You need someone to sell all these golden monkeys and crystal skulls to. A back alley curio shop owner with connections to all the wrong people. She knew that thing was cursed the moment you walked it into her shop, and has just what she needs to protect herself from its curse behind the counter. Annoy her and you'll leave her shop with a lovely relic that will leave you dead or worse in the next few days.

Claire Felsworth, Ghost Hunter, uses technical soulstone powered marvels to either recorporate and destroy, or immobilize and capture all manner of ghosts, haunts, and unwanted spirits. Whether laying traps or giving them a sound zapping, incorporeal beings have little chance against her. Your building will be ghost free in no time, given the right price. If she ever found out how her trusty sidekick drummed up business however, there'd be hell to pay.

Maybe as someone to be a competitor to Leveticus, because that's basically already what he does.

Also good to know, thank you.

My crew arrived in the post. If I used 30mm/40mm/etc. different bases rather than the ones provided would that cause issues?

As long as the base size is the same, it doesn't matter. I've used resin bases as well as metal inserts.

Well, after the botched rollout in June, looks like none of the retailers have any of the July releases yet, and today is August 1. Also, still no word on backordered rulebooks and faction packs. What the heck is going on Wyrd?

They've had to go to a second printing. They are coming, these things take time. Wyrd are currently at Gen-Con so don't expect an official response for at least a couple of weeks, as they handle the convention and the orders that will be coming in over that time. I know it's frustrating, but you will have to be patient for a bit longer.

will you put your money on it? I mean, literally... I won't buy models based on an assumption. By names and codes I know more or less what will be in there but I can't be sure. For example for me "Bayou engineering" could include Big Brain Brin and test subjects so I would love to know if it will include what you said as I am only missing sparks from that list and, when M3E is fully released I will have to buy all the box to get him. Wouldn't be easier to have a detailed list?

For your example, what says Engineering more, Brin or Sparks. I will be buying the Foundry models, as they're most of what's left for that particular keyword. And these are releasing in September, so I don't understand fully why they would have to be ordered by August 15.

Looking over the GTS distribution site I'm seeing these as having no info of contents:
    The Ten Peaks
    Familiar Faces
    Wake The Dead
    The Howling
    Altered Beasts
    Bayou Engineering
    Off the Top Rope
    See Ya Later
    Surgical Staff
    Six Feet Under
    Vengeful Ghosts
    Hired Killers
    Support Staff
    The Returned
    A Light in the Dark
    A Hard Day's Work
    Ancient Evil
    Eternal Servitude

Working with my FLGS to order things for the group, since they dont normally carry it. Preorders have to be in by the 15th of August.

Some of these are pretty easy to work out. The Ten Peaks is most likely December keyword models, Familiar Faces is Mimic models (likely Doppelganger and Changelings) Altered Beasts is Chimera, Bayou Engineering is probably Sparks, Mechanized Porkchop and Survivors, Off the Top Rope is Mancha Roja and Wrastlers. Other than that, I'm not too sure on the others, but I'm sure others can work them out, even if we don't get an official listing from Wyrd.

I'd not be upset with no explorer effigy, it would seem a little strange for one to appear now in the story. What obviously is needed is the 8 th deadly sin. I suggest rules lawyer the band manager.

There are 4 Horsemen, 7 Deadly Sins, but there's no limitation to the effigies in the same manner. So an Effigy and an Emissary are much more likely than messing with the source material that these concepts came from.

The sculpt is still too static for an assassin, specially with the arms like that. If you want to make it static, at least put the arms in the back, like hiding the blades.

Also the legs are completely disproportionate, but really, like A LOT.

Getting ready to use the blades or putting them back. Depends on your perspective, but there are plenty of reasons for an assassin to be in that particular pose, though it seems you want some cartoon pose, which is fine, but not enough to call the pose being used bad.

The legs being disproportionate seems to be part of the point, as it seems likely that Agent 46 isn't exactly human.

its not an information but a pessimistic assumption

    well lucky you i guess

first i dont have a flgs selling malifaux in my vicinity so im dependent on ordering it online

second my "to-go" online shop emailed me back simply having "no clue when they will get their ordered malifaux stuff"

If all else fails, Wyrd is getting a second run in, and will be selling the m3e stuff starting at the end of the month.

Being aggressively pessimistic isn't going to get you any sympathy.

Thanks for pointing this out. Unfortunately making small fixes in the web tool is time consuming (which is why I changed the architecture in my next project to make small changes as easy as a cloud file upgrade), and since I'm trying to focus on getting the next thing out, I probably won't be making fixes to the web tool very frequently. I'll try to keep a list and do a bulk update when I can though.

I'm going to assume that includes Minako Rei not being versatile in the tool, even though it shows on the card.

  11. I think a consensus has been (largely) reached, but I thought I'd throw my two cents in anyway.

Let's looks at triggers, they all have a 'cost' as presented in a required suit, sometimes that's built into the stat, but not always. Now, some triggers have an additional cost that must be paid to declare them. I hope this helps to understand what is going on with this particular action.

The distributor does not have a public forum. :)

I am going to a M3e tourney tomorrow in Lincoln, Ne to a store which has also NOT gotten product. I can't use the M3e cards I printed last month for the Bugearer tourney, because those cards are BETA, so I am printing all the cards I might need again. Sigh. A week after launch and all I want to do is give WYRD my money so I can play their game. How villianous I am!

Why do zero retailers in Omaha/Lincoln have product a week after launch? I asked them and I have the lgs answer, but I absolutely feel this is a fair question to pose to the company thats owns the merchandise as well.

Now. Please understand that "A-list" is a seperate type of grading system than "Letter-grades". Letter grades, traditionally A through F, are used to judge performances, tests, etc., giving each a relation to a baseline, or class average. You remember school, so...

A-list however is used to describe film stars, organizations, and even companies in a more abstract sense. When it comes to tabletop gaming, GW is A-list. And that is it. Top of the food chain! GW has the most shelf space by far. Privateer Press is B-list, along with Warlord; good market representation, solid stream of merch. C-list are companies like coolminiornot, decent shelf space, online presence, solid games. Wyrd is a C-list company as well, but HAS lost market share and shelf space in my area, and quite frankly, it sucks.

I have gamed long enough to know that the miniature-gaming market is no joke; it will swallow whole unsuspecting, wide-eyed creative types without skipping a beat, leaving their companies a distant memory and their models nothing other than collectables. If I get a poor dish at my favorite restaurant, I SAY SOMETHING! As an advanced game, with detailed models, Malifaux is pretty niche; maybe the long-term outlook is strong enough that no amount of clumsiness can knock them off track...but also maybe not.

The midwest is largely (if not exclusively) serviced by the distributor Alliance. Alliance dropped the ball and is desperately trying to blame Wyrd. I  get that it's frustrating, but Wyrd isn't responsible in this case.

I downloaded the card file to my iPad. It was a ZIP file. The iPad copied it to “Files” then directed me to open it with “Pages”. (I normally download pdf to iBooks, but it would not allow it). When I opened it in pages, it was there, but every time I tried to swipe between cards, it would lock up, presumably due to the size of the file. If the cards were able to be downloaded individually, rather than as a zip, it would probably work.  I looked at the Dropbox app, but it requires a google account, which I don’t have.  I’ll just wait for my faction pack to arrive, assuming it does, because the retailer told me that he didn’t receive all the product do to the distribution issues.

I don't know if this would affect it, but the cards are all separate pdf files.

He will get a new box for sure with the 3 Gokudos as minions. If you write down all the Masters divided by factions (main factions, as they are divided in the PDFs ) 4 masters per factions are missing and will receive a new box or have an already revealed new box.

But as Nikodemus said you won't see a new box for YanLo at least until late November\December if you are lucky. October is already taken by Viks and Dreamer (they were previously on the September Releases but they disappeared).

September was only added to the upcoming releases page when the books were delayed. Unless you have seen something about a delay to everything in the september release schedule from the retail newsletter that I've missed, they're still slated for a September release (It's likely Wyrd is planning on Gen Con to release more information).
