    Colors

I just was wondering if there are basic colorshemes that are manditory for playing with the different crews. I mean, do you have to use certain colors like say when you are playing the blood angels in Warhammer 40k. My Ortega family arrived yesterday and I started painting them today. I want to give them an dirty western look. Lot's of brown, grey, brownish green, ... Kind off like the colors of the clothes when you watch Deadwood or Unforgiven. They way it used to be What are your thoughts on this?

    Hello all!

Hey all, I have been lurking here for a couple of weeks. My interest in Malifaux just got fired up a couple of weeks ago when a friend of mine showed me his newest purchase...zombie samuraï I put in an order with the Wyrd shop here and received my Ortega's yesterday so I thought it was time to talk to the people here Haven't played the game yet because I want to paint my crew first. And between painting sessions I'm trying to read the rulebook. I have some experience in playing board and tabletop games (warmachine, bloodbowl, space hulk, last night on earth come to mind...) 4. Thanks for all the replys. I'm going to the shop tomorow and hope they have a set for me. I'm really looking forward on playing them. So brutal straightforward action... That is my cup of tea I played the Kador faction in Warmachine, those guys did some serious damage as well I'm a big zombie fan. But when I asked around in the local Malifaux community overhere it seemed that the nerco's are a crew that get's chosen by many. So I like to be different and it looks like I chose a good crew. Thanks again.
  5. I am a complete noob to Malifaux so I was hoping you veterans could help me out here. A friend of mine picked up a starter set of Malifaux figures last week and he showed them to me. Some zombie samurai types, forgive me but I'm not familiar with their names (yet). So I decided to look into Malifaux a little more and those Guild Gunslingers caught my eye. Now I was wondering if the gunslinger set (with that long haired chick in the box) would be a good set to start my adventure in Malifaux. Please advise
