Thanks guys! I've managed to get a family member (my nephew, a few years younger than I am) to start up with me. He's picking up Mcmourning -- this will be his first table-top game. I'm hoping to get some of my friends or my LGS in on it, as well. As it is, though, I will mostly be playing for fun, not specifically to win (though winning is nice). I want to pick up the acolyte, the wendigo and snowstorm to round out my theme. I've ordered and received my box, silent one and essence of power. I didn't want to order too much, in case I didn't like the game or couldn't find anyone to play (the latter being much more likely).

I've just discovered Wyrd miniatures, and I'm starting up with a friend at our LGS. The LGS doesn't carry Malifaux yet, but I'm hoping he will after he sees the game. Anyway, I'm considering buying the Rasputina starter set as my first crew. Any tips on how to play her, paint her, or other models to buy? I was thinking of keeping with the theme and buying the wendigo, silent one and December acolyte for extras. But I figured I'd post first and get some feedback. Thanks!
