  1. We have over twenty players signed up for the league already. This is a great opportunity to get motivated to paint thoses minis you've been putting off, or to start up a new crew with a great group of players.

  3. Yep, they're GF9, the boxes looked similar, my bad!
  4. I looked on their website and couldn't find them, I think they were just released at Gencon. A friend of mine got mine for me.
  5. So I finished up Snow Storm and my ice pillar bases. The ice pillars are made from a box of terrain pieces that Pegasus Hobbies manufactures. EDIT: The manufacturer is Gale Force 9 not Pegasus.
  6. One week until the tournament, looks like we're going to have great attendance based on the RSVPs I've received.
  7. Toledo Area Malifaux will be hosting an escalation league starting October 1st, 2011, and running for twelve weeks. At the end of six two week rounds, we'll declare a winner. This is an escalation league, and will start at 20 soulstones. There will be a document posted to report scores/results on, and a second document with all the league player's preferred contact information to ease setting up games. You'll be required to challenge one opponent every two weeks, and you can't challenge the same opponent twice. Entry fee will be $15. The round schedule: Round 1: 20 Soulstone Scrap, October 1st-14th. Round 2: 25 Soulstone Scrap, October 15th-28th. Round 3: 30 Soulstone Scrap, October 29th-November 11th. Round 4: 35 Soulstone Scrap, November 12th-25th. Round 5: 40 Soulstone Brawl, November 26th-December9th. Round 6: 45 Soulstone Brawl, December 10th-24th. * Don't forget, the last two rounds are brawls. Scoring will be domination format: 3 points per win. 1 point per draw. 0 points per loss. In the event of a tie, your differential score over the course of the league will decide the tie-breaker. So don't forget, those two points might matter down the road. Painting and basing is required for all models for league play. We'll stick with the minimum three color standard for painting, and bases can't be plain black boring old plastic bases. Avatars CAN be proxied, but must be a good representation of your master's avatar, and follow the same painting/basing requirements as your other minis, be creative! Other proxies are not allowed. If Wyrd has released it, it's fair game. At the end of the league there will be a prize for the winner, and the best painted. The best painted will be decided by polling the players during the last two weeks. There will be a couple more prize categories TBA based on number of players. Please RSVP at the following link or email me at ryan(at)differentbreed.net to sign up! Full details can be found: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=252834054750653

  16. Updated, edited OP. Got some new crews. Pandora is in the process of being painted. Took this picture today for some motivation, almost halfway done.
  17. Snow Storm will take the place of your Ice Golem. Adds a bit of mobility to a very slow crew. I usually run the exact list you posted, just a Sabretooth Cerebrus instead of the Ice Golem, it handles my light work and it's very mobile. Against certain masters I like having max soulstones, Rasputina is devastating with an 8ss cache.
  18. Trying to get rid of: 3x December Acolyte (Primed white) 2x Guild Guard (Started painting) Will ship anywhere if you foot the bill Willing to trade for Pandora's box set, a doppelganger, or Pandora's avatar form. If a trade is short, I can paypal the difference.
  19. Seamus would be your best bet then. The box set is good on its own (maybe get a copycat killer to go with it), and they have a variety of melee/ranged/magic options so you can see how each works and what you like.
  20. TPs = Tournament points. Generally 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss. VPs = Victory points. See your rulebook. Diff = VP Differential. How badly you beat your opponent. Example: You and I play, you win 6-2 on VP. The Diff score is 4.
  21. I'm here! I'll be playing Sunday.
  22. There's a pretty large group of us playing down in Toledo also, not that far of a drive.
  23. The wife and I will stop in and hang out for a bit!
