  1. I know everybody is probably anticipating Terraclips but here's a free paper townhouse I found from Dave's Games http://www.davesgames.net/catalog-coach-house.htm
  2. Looks nice, although a picture of the other side is most welcome. Is this for a game system?
  3. And thankfully there are a couple of posters on that forum that do in fact like and play Malifaux. It may be a bit childish but I also hate it when people bash a game that I really like.
  4. I know of your podcast and I'm subscribed to it on iTunes and it's easily the best one out and not just for Malifaux. Too often a podcast is 2 or more guys blabbering for over two hours but I really enjoy the mix of fictional stories and personal experiences, I'm slightly less interested in the tactica but I think that's mainly because I don't (yet) play the masters that have been featured so far but I love the option of downloading the entire tactica interview seperate. Like I said I enjoy the fictional stories tremendously and the narrator has a very pleasant voice. Keep up the good work. Sorry to take this thread off topic I just had to express my appreciation for all the hard work that results in this incredible podcast.
  5. @Keltheos: I thought so but his self-assuredness irritated me quite a bit.
  6. So I noticed some people discussing Malifaux on the Infinity forum and I wondered what your thoughts are on this discussion? You can find it here: http://www.infinitythegame.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6079 The user by the name of Magno brought up some points that as far as I know are incorrect. Excuse me if I'm wrong as I'm still in the process of painting my crews and haven't played a game of Malifaux yet but I always read that even though your master is killed it's still possible to win a game. He also states that you should not play Malifaux competitively yet that's exactly what is happening at Gencon so how bad could it be? Anyway any thoughts.
  7. Did it say when the models were going to be released (the Drowned, McTavish etc.)?
  8. I thought I read somewhere that some abilities were dropped or changed, or am I mixing my info about another game? Even so, things were changed and so you would never have 100% accurate info on stats/models because some of them might have changed. Therefore the only value I see in the older books is the story. Again, I'm not complaining and I probably understand why people who bought the Manual first would want to buy the older books, I'm just saying I'm still on the fence if I should spend the money on the books or on new crews/miniatures. So a fluff only book/document would be welcome and i would buy it in a heartbeat.
  9. But some/most of the rules are outdated so you the info won't be accurate, so that's why there not much of use IMHO.
  10. Yeah I know, but I'm just starting playing Malifaux and I wanted the up-to-date rules (rather important if you want to play the game, me thinks) and for that the old rulebooks are useless, if Wyrd had instead released a rulebook containing the new rules and the old fluff I would have gladly bought that. Now I'm hesitant as the only thing the old rulebooks are good for is the fluff and is that really worth the full price of the book? Mind you I'm not complaining as I'm perfectly happy with the Manual but if there was a way to still read the fluff without having to buy the big book, I would love that. But as already determined that would be illegal
  11. I would love such a document as I'm a latecomer to the Malifaux party and only bought the Rules Manual for the up to date rules. But as has been said, it is probably illegal for anyone but Wyrd to distribute such a document.
  12. I read some painting articles that mentioned mixing medium after looking up I found out that it was sort of binding fluid without the pigments from normal paint. I tried to paint a wall in my daughters bedroom yesterday and when I opened the can of Latex white wall paint there was a blank layer of fluid on top, is this the same stuff as the mixing medium?
  13. Okay so starting with Collodi isn't a good idea, don't let the Collette in my signature fool you, I have NO experience with Malifaux. It's just that after reading up about Collette she seems very difficult to start with and so my gf quickly claimed Seamus and now I'm torn between Collodi and Rasputina and leave Colette for when we have more experience playing Malifaux.
  14. Besides the fact that he doesn't have many options how beginner friendly would you rate Collodi (as a master not as a henchmen)?
  15. Or if there is such a thing the Avatar of Nightmare Lord Chompy!
  16. Exciting news about the Gencon Nightmare editions: 1 is a box!!!! So are Molly or Kaeris a possibility?
  17. If you're still interested I have: old sister canoness with Bolter /flamer combi weapon (undercoated white still in seperate pieces: main body, right hand with relic(?) and backpack) imperial missionary Jacobus (bare metal in seperate pieces: main body, right arm, backpack) 5 Sister Seraphim (2 painted the rest in the beginning stages, 4 models have seperate backpacks, one has backpack glued on) all are glued to round bases. They are all from the first time the sisters of battle appeared to give some indication to which edition they belong (never played 40K so no clue) I can make pictures if you want more info. I'm interested in the Von Schill boxset and I'm from the Netherlands
  18. Awesome! he's not 32mm is he? Great paintjob.
  19. I saw some artwork for an Undead Oni, I'm guessing he's for the Cult, and I'm very happy about that. Edit: How did you do the strings for the marionette by the way?
  20. Wow, looking at the photo's posted here it's obviuos the photo's on the official Bushido site need some work. Eventhough I pre-ordered the Cult of Yurei starter based partially on those photo's i'm even more excited after seeing these.
  21. I voted for two books but only if they contain the fluff from the first two books also, or they release the fluff from the first two books seperately. I ordered the rules manual but I would like to have the fluff from the first two books also without having to but the books with the now obsolete rules.
  22. Thanks for the tip, I placed my order through Maelstrom Games and could even include a physical copy of the rules manual. my order: Redchapel Gang Showgirls Mechanical Doves Green Fate Deck Blue Fate Deck Rules Manual And I'm in business! Now the long wait for the package to arrive begins.
  23. Wouldn't you know it, Here I am ready to order my miniatures from Wayland Games in the UK (I asked around no local gamestore carries Malifaux "Because it's not popular" psshh) is their site offline for the entire weekend. Just my luck. Decided on Seamus and Colette starters and Mechanicla doves and two Fate decks (like someone suggested) and some scenic bases, for those of you who are wondering.
  24. Man, I didn't know this could be so difficult. Here I was thinking that I would buy Colette and Seamus when I kinda remember I like Rasputina too. So, anybody any idea about Rasputina and the other crews I mentioned, difficulty, additional purchases for Rasputina (I really like the December Acolyte)?
