I think thats 6 points you get the extra stone back after you start the game but i love me the guild hounds use them all the time.

witchling stalker is a good choice for 4 points austringer is great for 5 (there better in a pair) the stalker with buffs from LJ can be a monster in melee and the range from the austringer is always helpful a watcher good objective grabber for 3 points... The list could get longer guild has a good assortment of minions for 5 and under it realy depends on what you need for your strat and schemes. but these are good all around choices

ninja'd on the austringers and agreed on the guardian and I also try to keep a min of 6 soul stones with LJ for the damage prevention

Stalkers are always good and i find the austringer an exellent choice for any guild list. I love the executioner model to but you might aswell paint a bull's eye on him he's a big threat and most people will try to remove him before he gets into melee of course this is not always a bad thing and you can always use a DM to deliver him
