    Seems like a 15 SS could be an opportunity for a good laugh and couple of (cramped) games. Is it going to be a ranked event though?

    We'll have to wait and see about that.

    My main concern for the avatar models is going to be when they are released. If it's going to be one a month for the next 20 months, then somebody is going to be getting a kicking from avatars each week and they still won't have one available to use. It'd be better if they released them all pretty rapidly, but I understand the business reasons for not doing so.

    I agree with some of the points the chap makes. Internet chatter is hardly real life gaming though.

    Absolutely, that's why I feel that ranked events are no place for the casual "for fun" player. All of this has been thrashed out elsewhere anyway.

    No toys no pram. I just choose to stick to casual enjoyable play. People want to hardcore win, fair enough. Apparently I go to a tournament, I should expect competition.

    Not really fussed about alternate methods of ranking and whatnot. The Henchmen decided rankings were going in, and in they went. Those people who decided that rankings are not the way to go, are choosing to not attend the various Malifaux events. Those people who want to compare ranking sizes are free to do so without us "casual weekend away having a couple of nice games" sorts getting in the way. As stated above:

    With regards to hoffmans dampening rule, does it mean that he ignores all damage from a blast attack or he takes damage but the templates are not placed?

    Is she a master in ressers then? It'll look a bit odd if a guild player uses Lady Justice and so does the resser player.

    Superb. That green work is really vibrant and the clothing has come out really well. Puts my efforts so far in the shade that I may never feel warmth again.

    GW Shadow Grey, I think they call it now. Still Blue Grey when I used to pay attention to these things. A good dousing of ink is how I shade the black. Proper old fashioned shiny ink, not these new GW washes.

    Said elsewhere, not 100% that this is the final Lady J avavtar. Old art and a different artistic style to the others shown.

    It also looks like it's a different artist from the rest of the seen avatars. Not 100% convinced it's the avatar LJ, but it is appearing alongside rest of them.
