  1. Merlin man, give me a shout when you get home - I have a ton of really small drill bits (all bar one smaller than the GW one you have) and you can hijack one.
  2. myself and Jimmy have been contacting them - Ive gotten onto Will Walsh myself, and there are a few other lads coming down who may or may not be bringing their crews. They're deciding whether to game or drink. we'll see what happens on the day, regardless.
  3. Hi all, On the evening of friday the 28th of January at Warpcon 2011 there will be 30SS knock out malifaux tournament. Entry will be E5, and will go directly towards the charity auction. Ruleswise, the tournament will use the up to date erratas, as well as the rising powers expansion. Proxies and conversion are allowed, as long as they are clearly identifiable as the target model. Encounters will use individual strategies, and schemes from RP. In addition to this there will be a joint scheme in each game as follows: Deface/Restore the Statue!: Place a 40mm marker in the centre of the table. This is the statue. Non Guild factions: During the game, a model may take an (all) action while within 3" to deface the statue, giving a total of 1 VP. If, at the end of the game, your opponent has not restored or defaced the statue further, gain an additional 1 VP. Guild Factions: During the game a model may take an (all) action while within 3" to restore the statue. This gives 1 VP. If the statue has been defaced during the game already, and remains restored at the end of the game, or if the opponent does not deface the statue at all, gain an additional 1 VP at the end of the game. Defacing/restoring can be done once per crew per turn. This scheme does not apply if both players are fielding Guild crews - in this case, each player gains 1 additional SS that is added to their SS pool during the game, which can take them over the normal SS limit. Clarification: Once you restore or deface the statue, you gain 1 VP, and you cannot lose it. If you prevent your opponent from restoring/defacing it, you gain an additional VP. If your opponent defaces/restores after you have done so, you can make an (all) action while within 3" to deface/restore again. Anyway, I hope to see you all there. any queries, contact me via email at Tograth@ gmail.com cheers Tograth

  5. a very easy way to do it is to use something like google maps. Mark the general location of each henchman on the map, and sticky it somewhere. That allows folks to check a few things - relative concentrations of henchmen across the planet, and also how far exactly they are from one. you could also link this to an email database - allows folks to contact their local henchmen to set up a game via email, like support requests and stuff are processed by a lot of websites (i.e. via a browser applet).
  6. um. You do realise I can do that at the moment, right? lets see: ramos cassandra corypheé x2 johan toolkit 33 SS. johan stays back to keep ramos company, who spends first turn or two churning out spiders. Corypheé go kill stuff and cassandra goes and disappears things permanently.
  7. Can you use the toolbox though with Cassandra? If its a totem, you have to connect it to Colette, which means that she cant connect any doves, since you can only connect a single totem to a master
  8. You can drain souls away - the only thing insignificant stops is certain victory conditions. Methinks i shall have to pick me up one of the toolboxes as well
  9. Why would folks take the toolkit over the brass arachnid? Im just wondering, as I havent seen the stats for the toolkit yet (RP in in the post...) ands the fact that you can give reactivate to any construct is pretty damn nifty. Also, If you use drain soul on an electrical creation to gain soulstones, does it still generate its blast?
  10. A big question - can the shikome give hunting partner to only a single model at a time? what happens if you try to give it to another model while it is already active on marcus? What happens if you run a shikome with marcus and something cheap (think moleman or raptor), give hunting partner to marcus turn 1, then later on when you want marcus to puck something else, give hunting partner to the raptor. Voila, Marcus is no longer subject to hunting beast. (this is all theory hammer - I dont have access to the RP book right now, so I might be remembering this wrong)
