hey there guys, just read the entire thread and I have to say that I'm absolutely amazed by your level of skill and creativity. This must be one of the best looking gaming boards I have ever seen for any system. I'll be in Antwerp for work somewhere last of January, if the board's still on display by then I'll come and check it out for sure. thanks for the warm welcome. I'm not really sure where I take the somer crew beyond the box, but some more "varkens(plural)" will definately be acquired.

Hey there people, just joined up with the boards today after lurking for the last couple of weeks. I've decided to start with this game after playing a demo during a convention in the Netherlands a month ago (in the freetime from playing in a warmahordes tournament). I've known of Malifaux for quite a while, but have allways been hesitant to start another system. The demo I played in had me playing a Rasputina force against Perdita's gunslingers. Neither crew really interested me but the ruleset is pretty awesome! I picked up the rukebook and have been reading that and the boards for the last couple of weeks. Even though I only played one game yet I'm pretty sure I've got a pretty decent grasp of the rules. A couple of friends of mine and Myself have now decided on our first crews (me taking two because I plan to demo the game in our flgs). Roy went with Perdita and Lylith crews where I baught the colette box(+ coryphee) and the Gremlin box. I know they're not the easiest crews to start with, but they attracted me from a painter/modelers point of view. I hope this forum will help me when we encounter some rules we don't fully understand yet and such. I hope I'll be contributing by posting a log of my progress and by writing some fiction (or narrated battle reports).
