  1. Sounds like the run of the mill storyline campaign. Set an end goal and then come up with introductory scenarios, once those have been worked through and the winners and losers are determined, work out the next set of scenarios based on the results of the previous game and so on until you reach the final confrontation.
  2. If I take Hoffman as my primary master and then hire Ramos as my secondary, am I able to hire Gunsmiths? Ramos being able to hire a plethora of M&SU Assets as he pleases.
  3. I think all of your questions would basically be answered by carefully re-reading the rules manual. In any case, I'm going to try my best to help you along little camper. Probably the most important lesson any of us can learn from this game. Friendly model already on the board. No free models, no rezzing dead models. As many times as you have AP to do them. May want to re-read the rules on prevention flips. Bells, whistles, joyful yammering. Red Joker means whatever you were flipping for just got a score of 14-if you pull it on a healing flip, you get all your health back. The wording as far as I have it basically says your straight line would work. Though you'll want to get a second opinion. Replaced. Current card. Anything from the Guild. Mercenaries cast +1SS. If you just play Lucius take a gander at his character card...it will tell you exactly what you want to know. You seem pretty well off. If I were you I'd play a few more games first and then decide based on your experience.
  4. I really like hats, eyegear and victorian fashion. Though...as soon as I have some good lighting and a painted clock tower I'm putting up a picture of Coppelius (the real reason I play Hoffman).
  5. When I'm not getting kicked out of rpg games for verbally manhandling the other idiot participants, seriously if you're looking for the dregs of society-look no further than role players, I study mythology and wait till the stars are right...or whenever my artist pal will finish our graphic novel promo material, whichever comes first. I'm also waiting on Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
  6. I'm with DB on this, go for Sacha.
  7. That's funny, coming from the guy who started this mess.
  8. I play solitaire with mine every once in a while. Also, the deck is good for being used with Savage Worlds, an excellent rpg that is quite compatible with the style and theme of Malifaux.
  9. Corpse counters are gud! One of the reasons I'm not going to run hanged men, as cool as the bastards are.
  10. It pleases me that Nicodem is not on this list. Yes... *evil cackle* Of course, he's not on the best of list either.
  11. Yes, they totally wreck the father/daughter plot line, to the extent that it isn't even in the movie...
  12. Dystopia always wins. Repo Men continues that grand tradition.
  13. Leveticus isn't the most reliable necromancer around...
  14. That's turning out to be pretty damn ominous.
  15. No problem. The "blue stuff" you see there is actually blue painted plastic. It's from the GW Empire Wizard kit, which I have found useful in the past. Nicodem's new cloak used to be the cloak of a ice themed Beastman shaman, however, I have since disowned the game and the model wasn't needing the bits as much as Nicodem was. The blue on the vulture might just be a trick of the light... I have a pretty good sized bits collection, though I'm still trying to figure out what to do for my corpse counters. Thank you for your compliments.
  16. On further reflection, I'm thinking I'm going to extend the fog effect on Nicodem's base.
  17. For Nicodem's paint job so far, I did most of the base painting, but my friend Alan did all of the neat high lighting and started on the base. It should be finished up by the end of the weekend. More Nicodem:
