i had my firts battle against marcus and it was sweet, I won but it was bacause the terrain was good for me and not so good for him. the part i loved the most was that hé charged with 2 silurids on my ice gamin, thank god i only had 1 wound left. so now its raspys turn,, i used decembers curse on my gamin cheated it high and flipped a low defence, then i flipped high to get my 5:blast:blast placed them nicely over the silurids and they still got 1 wound left, but since my gamin was killed he did the shatter damage and they died. one of my sweetest combo's i did ^^ i now there are better combo's but i'm only a newbie so i will have to learn them but since we only did a 25 ss battle and i killed 10 ss and lost 4 i think i did a good job ^^ and i love the DA he didn't do very much but if he did something they always recieved slow, wich was very funny because that realy slowed his fast crew down and of course, the ice pilars very funny hé couldn't see my raspy so he had to run for my golem, and i can cast around corners with ice mirror ^^ conclusion: my first battle with raspy was a great succes and i love the models end how they work together to make strong combo's grtss

since that in my club there are only 2 malifaux players (my brother and me) i doubt i will have some problems with zoraida since my brother loves marcus and he will also buy the ortega set

exactly what is was saying it would be weird if ramos summons a electrical or a spider and they dissapear so until they say they dissapear, i will use them as a terrain and not an effect

but is an ice pillar an effect? and how is it possible that a terrain piece dissapears? so i would believe that it would stay,,

i don't know where u get the idee that the pillars dissapear,, it only says that you can cast this once per turn, but nothing that they will dissapear

yeah i know that silent ones are great, but since i don't have the expansion yet i don't know HOW good. now i think my DA will be nice to play with. so lets say there are a couple of creatures that attack my golem wich is lets say 5" from my raspy (linked with a essence) i can use the essence to cast decembers touch and then use my raspy to cast 3 times decemebers curse (try to overpower a few) and cheat some severes. now i see why you guys say raspy blasts away some models

at the moment i have rasputina 3 ice gamin 1 ice golem 2 acolyte 1 wendigo 1 essence I just got my rulebook so I'm starting to understand what I can do with my crew, I like the acolyte so I think I will always take them, I also will take the essence, wendigo sometimes just to for fun. I will get me a silent one or 2 but first I will focus on these rules I'm not going to rush things. I also have a question. when I use white out with rasputina, it is an obscuring ht 5 aura. but does that mean its blocking LoS? or just covering? and what would you guys think about me adding a steamborg executioner? and switch it for the ice golem and when I do so can I use the +1 melee expert to use flurry? grts

i don't realy understand how it works with the golem and casting on him with rasputina, could someone explain, do you flip all the cards? or,, i haven't got my rulebook yet so i don't know any rules

i see, with this in mind, i sorted out this, rasputina, 3 ice gamin ice golem wendigo, acolyte now i'm going to play against marcus ( my brother will play with him) and he will ad a jackalope and some molemen, you guys think i need something else? i do not know what hoarcats do, but i'm willing to go for the cerberus. i'm reading in the forum some stuff, altough i can't fully understand what they say :tongue2: i don't know any rules yet. but i think the cerberus will be a nice thing to do

allright, another question now i know this, the essence of power and wendigo, what are the adventages and disadventages and wich should I take, i like the wendigo model and since you guys said it fits the december theme nicely, it has a heart of ice? so it can resputina can cast spells tru him?

hi, I'm new to malifaux and I think I would like to buy the cult of december starter box, but I do not know if this is a good choice for a newbie and how to play. I also consider to take a december acolyte. can u guys give me some hints to play with cult of december and what other creatures work well with rasputina. also note, i do not know any rules yet. I'm not new to tabletop games however, I love my necrons in warhammer 40k but i saw malifaux and i'd love to try it. i simply love the cult of decmeber miniatures. grts Anthony
