Executioner vs McMourning McMourning is down to 3ss he has to kill my executioner for the win (slaughter), he is at full health and so is my executioner. He dives in with scapel sling has to burn stone to hit. Does severe. Second attack he gets it cheatable so he can throw down another severe there by killing the executioner. Slow to die, executioner decides to swing at McMourning nothing else close by. He flips a 13 of mask and 13 of books, McMourning flips a 3 putting me at an even flip for damage. he decides not to burn stone on defense since i couldn't kill him, and he would need a 12 to make me miss, plus he has two stones to prevent autokill. Now i have half a deck left no joker left so i say to my opponent "i need to cheat a ram in and hope i flip a red joker then severe to win. Odds not likely." Well only ram i have in hand is a 2 which puts me at even. Low and behold with four cards to flip for damage out comes joker. My opponent just stares at me on the verge of rage and tears, his one game he was actually going to beat me, slipping through his fingers. Well the extra damage flip the 11 :rams:. Now he has 1 ss left, he realizes and gives a hefty laugh and says he prevent some to live, flips top card and stops laughing, BLACK JOKER. McMourning dead executioner back to full health game me. Probably my most soul crushing win. Yes I do cheat down for joker flips in desperate situations. I see nothing wrong with that mechanic, odds were never in my favor.

I personally do not like this idea. Model count can become a big issue and put certain crews in a distinct disadvantage. This not more fair. I can slow you down by qsking for your card to check what your doing. This happens at almost every game because this game haa a lot of complicated actions. I see it some times and it is frustrating. I like when my TO yells last turn coming up. Giving prep to know how many actions i have left. I hate when time is called. Warning of 10 mins is hard to count when my mind is focused on my next moves. I would like more time per round too, not sure that solves it. I think how a TO warns time is where the solution lies.

Keep to range, only go in for the kill with von schill since he can ignore the guardian armor with knife. play fast and to your strategy, you will have a diatint advantage. His crews threat range wont be much more than 14" so keep 15-16 and you will likely be safe as you narrow down his crew.

I see a lot more advantages than disadvantages. Push into base to base means you are now that much closer by 4 mm. Placement effect that is not completely within, means again you are 4mm, this is small but can make the difference overtime. I wouldn't feel comfortable with it.

Initiative is important but winning losing depends situation. I have wished to lose many initiatives even ss to hope for lower. 9ss is hardly worth increasing the chance to win intiative. There is mimic which holds more value to me.

Just that doppleganger fluff wise, always seemed to be more a merc, then strictly necerborn. Now there is a lot of reasons why mechanics wise she is not a merc. Now imagine she was a merc, nothing as changed would she be worth it out of faction and what would you do with her?

I think the ladies are the strongest option for guild. I think Hoff is the weakest of our options their by making him the weakest book 2 master. That said Perdita has probably one of the easiest master for early destroy evidence or treasure hunt. When I say early i mean fist activation. Lucius actually being best but worst long game. Lucius henchman with Sonia and Lady j strong long game treasure and destroy. I curious about your list, and come up with lots of early game options but less long game. now if we could only make lucius family. I just think Perdita struggles long game.

So I was just flipping% through book looking at all the cool alternates they made of book 1 masters. When doing this it occurred to me only one book 1 ma2e3etyyŕster did not have an alternate image and that was the Doctor. Now the Levi is barely an alternate bit it is a cleaner image. Now thia makea me wonder is Doctor going to have an alternate?
