Thanks! I picked up a box of Zoraida today and hoping to do a test run sometime this week. I think I'm still getting used to playing Lilith and having the courage to just push her into battle. I've been getting my butt kicked with Rasputina with her December's curse.

I haven't seen any discussions on using Lilith in a brawl yet. Does anyone have suggestions for a crew list or a master that would work well with her? I was thinking of using Zoraida and his crew along side with Lilith (I haven't seen book 2 yet so I'm not too familiar with the new models).

My fiance mentioned this the other night.. and I think it fits quite well... Rasputina with Ice Golem: Vanilla Ice - ICE ICE BABY ^__^

Melnibonean thanks for the advice! Unfortunately the LGSs in the area don't have painting nights (or at least that I am aware of). But like semanticdm suggested.. maybe its time to go do some more poking at the store owners until they give in!

I bought my box the weekend before GenCon (that is when I found what GenCon was ... and I'm so bummed to have not gone!) and put in an inquiry about the box I got. From all the good things said on the forums about the customer service, I was hoping for a quick response. But it is nice to know that we non-GenCon orders/customers have not been forgotten ^__^.

I've never painted miniatures before so this is all done with heavy internet research lol (thanks to all the links that everyone posted in other noobie painting threads!! they were really helpful!)... I would LOVE LOVE some constructive criticism as I know I have plenty to still learn! The first mini I painted was the Mature Nephilim (figured he was large and had the least amount of really small details). Next was Lilith (I'm a little disappointed to how she came out though) and my fiance's Rasputina and Ice Golem.

Hah.. I was also really excited to start playing and painting my models. Since I've never done model painting before... I picked up a set of paints and primer the same day just so that I can start! But in terms of gameplay I don't have anything to compare it to.. but I am loving it so far!

Another question about this rule, so if one of my tots die with, lets say 2, counters on it.. do they not drop the 2 anymore and will only drop 1? Or am I reading it wrong and produce means any counters/effects that have not yet been materialized and the tot will still drop the 2 counters it carried?
