Yeah it is generic that a game can go at any time from a FPS campaign to a twisted metal campaign/demolition derby. I get what you mean otherwise but I think what really sells this game is more the nostalgia of G1 and it's greatness over the existence of Micheal Bay and why anyone who has fond memories of G1 should choke him with his money. The fact that this is really the first good transformers game...ever.

Best thing about stupid mistakes like this is they do not happen a second time. I would lump the both of these under a single occurrence as you didn't know the true scale of the items in question.

Ohh the reasons predators are so Iconic is they are super bad@$$. Now I understand this movie probly has reverse ninja law. One predator = ultimate killing machine, but add more and the kill power drops. But I mean the idea of this movie from what I've read is all the people on the planet are "Arnolds" for lack of a better description. They are the John Rambos, The Dutch, The Sly Marbo, The Keanu Reeves. So I still wanna see the movie.

You know what you wanna look at for creepy ghost towns have you ever seen the movie Phantoms. Yes the town was more modern but what you could do is as i said homes with street lanterns burning in front of them, but no lights on inside is one idea. Another is to put a few things completely out of place like say children's toys in the center of the town or something creepy. Also another person to read for creepyness is of course Lovecraft. He made some creepy towns.

well lets see whole tons of internet people saying product is good, a few disgruntled NY gamers saying not so. Me who hangs out with said disgruntled gamers I pass on their word of mouth. All i every used for cases were Sabol, GW, Plano removable tackle box trays(mainly as a portable hobby station, Plano Giant tackle box (line that one with some foam you have an excellent Baneblade Transport, Boxes I personally reinforced and lined with foam (no one makes a Valkryie/Tower of Skulls/Plague Tower/Warhound Titan Carrying case). I have a feeling now that I said that someone will build a forge world Titan Carrying Case for those megabattles where you absolutely need 30 story giant bipedal machine support. so you know I might add the company into my decision making dice which means i gotta either downgrade to a d4 or upgrade to a d8.

So I was wondering are the coal pits sorta like basement's for once existing structures. Or are they just pits. because if they were once existing structures I would add maybe some lantern posts that are still lighted to give it the creepy effect of "what happened to the buildings?" Otherwise Kudos it looks very nice.

You know those three words have a very nice ring to them...lol. The other thing aside from historically when dealing with wild west boom towns is the fact that this is a fantasy offshoot and being that it is a magical other dimension really as long as it is blatantly not "for the God emperor of mankind" or "stark industries" or "rebels woo blowing up the deathstar" on the buildings themselves really any non modern terrain you have would probly fit for a malifaux town. At least that is my understanding of the Hodgepodge mix of design.

Some of us evil empire fans will never fully convert. I play other games. But because the evil empire requires a minimum of 3k for fantasy and like 1850 for 40k you know I gots costs. too much of an investment to ever quite....kinda like some hard core drugs...lol

I think honestly it is how you incorporate the the hovels into the wild west stuff. Because I mean like id you do it well it will defiantly look well. Because Malifaux is such a mix of different genres that it would really work well. The other thing is in old west towns especially boom towns you will have the more permanent buildings toward the town center while having hovels like that more on the outskirts and near mining encampments.

Not a personal attack but I heard bad things. Now as many of us know in our respective areas we are generally small communities that purchase things based on word of mouth. For example this game I would never have even known about it had the club i go to at a pub each wednesday introduced it and I was like "wow those minis are cool and no dice you say" So I checked out the website and here I am. The same goes for all the role playing stuff and miniatures stuff I buy. I hear somewhere has awesome stuff plus great service I go i check it out. But I hear bad things from people I trust or I personally have a bad experience I share it with my fellow gamers. not outta maliciousness but as a warning, or at the very least to be a footnote of hesitancy. It also could have been just one bad experience on both ends. Eventually lilith and her crew and possibly another crew of either steam robots or zombie hookers havn't decided yet will need a home and I am hearing alot of good things from other gamers on this site. At that point depending on cost, opportunity, and plain old other reviews your companies bag could still be in the running. Just I as a gamer will always have that little nagging of what could happen on the negative side.

Nice and are they called chinese cooks or china man cooks the models themselves. Because I know in alot of old western stuff but the various companies they make distinctions and use some of the old racial names for things as a way of being authentic. I ask more on the fact that when you search for the minis on foundry that knowing their actual name of product is highly helpful.

well the first time yes they are cool. But like after a few times of them messing up they get angry and take it out on you the customer. Now keep in mind what i heard about their customer service and the guy that runs the company makes me not want to even deal with them. Now keep in mind you may have only had one problem. the person i know had like six problems in one order. They basically sent him an e-mail that said rather diplomatically "feck off we do not need you as a customer." I know the person not to lie about something like that.

The review was really good. These guys know what they are talking about. I like how they talk about the background and the rules which you rarely ever get in a review. It is nice to have a review for this game.

I just bought my first crew, I have yet to play a game, but I have read the book. Honestly there doesn't seem to be a need for a "good" faction. I mean other then ressurectionists there really isn't any super outright evil faction. Even the neverborn are more or less we gotta get these humans out of our home. So they are like the Native American tribes of malifaux. It even says in the book that no one knows why they look like demons if it is a response or was inspiration. I think I trust the game creator to add a faction if they want.

a friend of mine told me the customer service for them though nice with the lifetime warrenty is very "feck off we don't need you as a customer" when you complain. Which when customer service is that shite I honestly would go somewhere else.

truly an inspiration good sir. I plan on making things as exccelnt not to rival but as homage.
