These are looking great. while i wouldn't mind seeing a darker red like others have mentioned... i do think the pale red gives it the sun-bleached and weathered look that the other details suggest. Just a thought anyway. Love both Jokers. can't wait for the rest! XD

all the bases look really good... but Hamlin's is GENIUS! i love the idea for the hoar cats by the way. Great idea. keep it up! can't wait to see the painted ones. p.s. are there water effects in the works? it looks like you left plenty of room.

I don't know if it's anything you would need, cause not everyone uses physical counters for this, but i made a few blood counters for my Lilith crew. I saw her there in your sig and figured i would mention it. my brother also made up two "Mysterious Effigies" for when that comes up. it says each player needs two, so i figure you would only need two and let the other guy supply his own. or you could be a cool cat and make four. ;] Tome counters are also in book 2. now that i think about it, book 2 has a lot of 30 mm markers for terrain and strategies. haha. anyway, i hope this helped... EDIT: I forgot to mention, Ratty's stuff is quite handy as well. While i will admit to having the do-it-yourself bug, i keep a lot of his stuff around for "Just in case" counters on the off chance that someone doesn't have any, or we are using more than i made. In case i haven't said this before, Thanks Ratty. ;]

loving hopkins. he looks just as good as the lot. So, i will ask, are you making the bases that hopkins and the others are standing on? cause they are just the look i am going for on my Lady J crew. might have to steal your plans. ;]

the face cards blew my mind. I will agree with Geckilian that black might look better on the back. but i would probably have to see them side by side to have a real opinion. and while i like both designs, my personal preference would be the second back. I like the vines and fern leaves myself. you inspire.

Challenge accepted! When avatar Zoraida come out, i will paint that young model to look just like this. maybe a pinch of green stuff to get the sagg back into the sculpt. Just wait. I'm just crazy enough to do this.

these look better every time i look. the 11 12 and 13 are AWESOME. nice compromise between the letters and the numbers. i would love to buy a set from you when you get them finished! XD keep up the amazing work!

I just want to say i *love* this idea. massive kudos to you my friend for this bold plan. I am sure the pay-off will be completely worth the work. When i was running demos we used Lilith vs lady Justice and Raspy vs Viks. between the four crews you cover just about every single basic rule. and they are pretty simple crews right out of the box. good for beginners.

She doesn't look well... but you did a great job painting her. haha i particularly love her hair. mine always come out more red than orange.

these look fantastic! and while i love Colette's sculpt the way it is, the bunny in the hat looks awesome. I like how the colors tie in as well. kudos!

i really like the guild guards, lucius and the scales of justice. The bloody executioner is pretty cool too. can't wait to see lady J herself! XD

Bigkid, i was thinking the same thing. although, i do love a crowded table... makes for an interesting game. These look really great though. i am leaning more and more towards getting some for myself. Think i might want to play on them before i buy.

@Nilus I used that fire guide as well. it worked for me. i have fire on their bases and also source lit the crew. I think it looks good. anyway, my point, it's funny that we find the same guide. haha

I really like this. If i am not mistaken you are the only person who has photos of Collodi on the forums. I just put in an order for him at my lgs. really looking forward to it now that i have seen a pic other than the studio ones. I like your color scheme. i am still trying to figure one out for myself. haha I dig how dingy your yellows turned out of Collodi and the marionettes. Overall, was it a fun crew to have on the painting table?

I really got in to Levi for a while. I wanted to use my hooded rider (neverborn) and Samurai Punks (Resurrectionist) together. (Went very well thank you) and while my younger brother has many crews, Ramos is his fall back guy. always will be too. Those little mechanical spiders will be a plague on your enemies. I recommend picking up Joss for your Ramos/Levi crews. he is a total powerhouse when you get his combos down. I don't know a lot about Hoffman as i leaned more towards Lady Justice and Lucias due to guild guards being quite useful to both. p.s. marcus while under-appreciated, should be very feared. any time I use him, my opponents roll their eyes.. then i crush them. Once i figured him out, i found an extremely useful set of combo's, and i have won almost every game with him. using only his box plus one cerberus for miranda to turn into. Sorry i rambled a bit, but i hope this helps
