so perdita, papa, fransico, santiago and nino? makes sense, ill change up the crew.

so i got a few guys into Malifaux, and i like to demo games for people. we play 25 ss. slaughter games with the faction schemes in place for extra VPs. i use 2 crews to show people the game, the 2 crews are: Perdita nephilim nino executioner peacekeeper lilith tot tot tot young mature i always take the perdita crew and i just get smoked on 90% of my games. maybe im missing something with my models, and i have all the guild models from the first rulebook, so any help would be appreciated. i think i might be a little low on models, and pay for it when i get swarmed by tots.

i havent played a game yet, we only have 2 people who play in my area and they are both out of town this week. any suggestions on who would be a good foil to perdita as a demo crew for new players?

i tend to repaint my stuff when i run out of things to paint. i dont stockpile unpainted models either and i only play with painted models so its a pretty good vicious circle.

i dunked crid and her stalkers as well as samual hopkins in my stripper and will repaint them next. Lady J interests me the least, which is odd becuase i usually like beatstick types in other games.

thanks for the advice, ive seen alot of people praise fransisco. might just go with the witchling and get another SS in perdita's cache. i have 3 witchlings because i have all three of the main guild boxes.

I have been using this crew for a while now with mixed results, mainly it was the models i like the look of and then went from there. i have been running this at 25ss. Perdita Enslaved Nephelim Nino Peacekeeper Executioner i like a combined arms force, as well as the peacekeeper and executioner models are really nice IMO. im looking at a dump up to 30ss and possibly 35. these models are my painted force so dumping a bunch of them for new ones arnt really what im looking for. thanks.

oh. is there a reference in the rulebook where i can show my opponent that?

the guy that got me interested in Malifaux didnt have his normal cult of december force with him today at my LGS, but since i am a painting freak i had 2 starter crews painted up before i even played my first game. so he took the pandora crew and i took perdita. i had: Perdita Loco Nino Santiago he had: Pandora Sorrow Sorrow Cade Candy it ended with me shooting pandora to death, but man are her WP duels a tough thing to face, especially with Loco. so a single question then, does perdita's immune to influnce have any effect on pandora's WP duels? seemed kinda odd that the rest of the family has stubborn at least.

i picked up all three of the guild starter boxes plus an executioner and the governor's proxy. i think that covers me for a while. prolly will be a little easier to learn the game as well as opposed to the pandora force i painted up first.

i really cant decide on who i want. originally i disdained from the guild, but after getting a better grasp on the rulebook, i feel they really cover the most bases. ill prolly end up buying all 3 of the guild starter boxes, adding the executioner and calling it a day.

i do really like the witchling stalker models. and i was gonna pick up the executioner anyways because i like the model.

so buying the lady J and then the ortega box will set me up pretty good then?

after building a decently sized pandora force, i want something a bit less tricksy and more straight forward. i am looking for a general beatstick master with some good CC options with a good amount of shooty as well. at my LGS we play alot of 20ss into games and sometimes 40ss games, which is what i have pandora built for so i am looking for input on something for Lady J, as she seems to be a great beatstick herself. any help?

not to derail the topic completely, i am just curious to know what would be a good opposing force for the pandora starter box, i need to get another starter to demo the game at my LGS.

2x1.5 approx. im running out of room on my arms, im working on a chest piece right now.

i can see myself collecting something of similar size if i really get into this game. i like to go overboard with games i like. i own over 20,000 points of 40k orks, and a huge warmachine khador force.

Ork Boy for life baby! right underneath Biggie Smalls (RIP) tattoos are a personal thing, they mean a lot to me, and if other people don't like or understand it, that's on them.

i went with pandora for the models. if i dont like it gamewise i can pick up something else later, this game is pretty cheap compared to other games i play.

can you give me a general idea of how Pandora would play? im going to play a load fo games next saturday with her. im going to be using: Pandora Candy Cade Sorrow Sorrow

yeah, raspatina was actually suggested by another player on another forum. ill look into her more. i was told Marcus is more of a support caster and his specific beasts are more fast and dodgy then hitty. im also looking at neverborn just for the models, and since i have Teddy and Cade already from back when Wryd just made minis, i think ill get a Master and maybe Candy just to get something new in.

how steep would the learning curve be for this sort of Crew? am i looking at any glaring defeats with this stuff if i choose to build on the faction later?
