What this tells me is, I'm going to be getting all the riders on the table and seeing there impacts again. Both on crews with no riders and against crews with riders. Perhaps the best way to deal with much rider is to joust it off the table

yes, I know there were a ton of demos' ran as well as just familys and others walking into the room seeing the models and the excitement and going where can I buy this stuff here. the lack of a booth or some vending presence officially from wyrd was very disappointing and to me a miss to sell some product. embrace your hyper fans who are traveling you know from england, australia and the wilds of America to come to a hotel outside chicago at the end of Winter to play your game for 4 days at the cost of 100-1000s of dollars. That would have loved drop some vacation money in your till. 

Twas a lot of fun at masters although my results weren't what I wanted the games and the opponents were far too good to worry about going 2-3 faced Ramos twice 1 win one loss and Lossed to Yan Lo, Won in the Nicodem off with Conrad, and a narrow loss final game vs Resser Tara. The fact I was alive for the second half was good enough for me went a bit heavy on the vodka after masters day 1.

The quick and the dead has a lot of malifaux vibes without the magic but I think it captures the guild very well. And preacher reminds me of sue

He is basically card draw, deck manipulations as well as enemy scheme removal.

The big advantage she brings over Rogue or Izamu is she can use soulstones those other 2 can't. And her mobility is on par or better than both.

Oldly seeing your Hoffman made me really want to get him on the table. I think for the league I'll need to figure out whats missing and play that

Base concept is Raspy Armors up the crew through her Decembers Touch ability adding to the base armor of the crew and dishing out frozen heart. Only 1 living model in the crew which is rapsy.  

The keeping Jackalope alive is a great minigame to play. Changing it up is not only good for your opponents, but its also good for you as a player to do. It broadens your game and how you view the table.

Sorry....I couldn't resist. I can't help you because I'll never use him........like Fetid, I have an intense personal distaste that he is dual-Guild. Nothing to do with the game or the mechanics, just a personal thing.

Its fine, I quite happy that he now straddles the line between 2 factions I'm really enjoying in m2e. He's like a mog, half man half dog he's his own best friend. But I have to say the part of it all that sells me is the greatest ability name in the game, By order of the governor Secretary, I love saying that...

Ikvar the simple answer is yes, yes you are, but only when you play Gremlins because Gremlins are awesome.

I'd agree with a lot of what's been said above. I enjoy the competitive game, and the way it's portrayed is something of a passion of mine.

 

Players also tend to conflate conduct and competitiveness into one issue. They equate a higher level of competitiveness with the lower level of conduct. The dreaded phrase 'power gamer' is used as derogatory term for a competitive player.  They are of coarse two separate issues and I've never experienced any link between competitiveness and having poor conduct.

 

Bending and breaking the rules is a conduct issue, not a competitive issue.

This All Day this. There is High Level play and there are behavioral issues. The two are not related in anyway. The majority of Games I've had with the more competitive players have been some of the cleanest games I have played. Because play standard is also something we tend to pride ourselves on. A jerk is a jerk, be they competitive or not, and though shalt not Noob stomp. 

Any rulings for using models without an official model?

You can use models that don't have an official Model as of yet. All these must be shown to TO prior to playing. TO will approve. Base guideline is as long as I can recongize the model for it is without explanation than it will be legal. I'm fairly loose on this but its mostly don't bring me a space marine and tell me its Shenlong. But if you have a cool asian looking model its probably going to be fine.

I quite Like Von Schill in Squatters Rights, its more him and his more thematic force are quite mobile in there own right and when standing on the center can bring the weapon to bear on teh advancing enemy. 

However part of that is also really Von Schill in Turf war, He is a master than when fighting over a defined space has a set of abilities and rules that help him and his crew dominate in defined take and hold areas. 

I like them both a lot. And have used both and will continue to use both in a lot of outside outcast builds as mercenaries. 

Bishop-tends to get my vote more often than Taelor but that is mainly because a lot of taelors pluses are found on Johan who is substantially cheaper. That Said welcome to malifaux can help but a damper on certain summoners days.
