  1. I'm surprised no one wrote here about the new update... I'm very disappointed in PP, they did nothing to close the power gap between WM and Hordes, instead they cuddled almost everything, "for the game balance" (especially assassination techniques, which were the key to winning against WM with certain Hordes factions). I'm even thinking of selling my Trollbloods if things won't change. I don't want any more uphill battles against WM cheese, I've had enough of it in MkI. Btw after a few games I start to like Malifaux better than WM/H. Even if I lose I enjoy the game, and except against a very good player with Pandora (incite, incite, incite, incite, kill with spells & incite, incite away), it feels like I had a chance and I play a balanced game. :bigthumb:

  5. No Penguins, please. As a child I hated them with a passion, and Malifaux doesn't need them. As for what I'd like to see.. More cowboys, a priest/precher with guns for the Guild, and more steampunk stuff of course.

  7. I'm thinking of switching to Ressers from Guild, because I find their playsyle boring (advance. shoot. charge. win), and I was exactly thinking about what to take against them. My go-to master will be Nico, but LadyJ and/or the Executioner screws him so much, that I want to get another Master, to counter Guild. As you said, Seamus is also not the best choice because their high Wp, so that leaves us the good ol' Doctor. And imo McMourning would be a good counter to anti-resser Guild lists. He doesn't need corpse counters to summon stuff, can stand toe-to-toe against any Guild heavy hitter and has more SS (to cheat against LadyJ). Don't forget to take some Necropunks (depending on the scenario) and a plenty of dogs with Sebastian (chain companion seems fun, and you can make Flesh Constructs from them) and probably a Nurse for guided doggy/punk missiles to weaken his models - the Guild has almost no healig, while we you can easily heal and replace your losses with McM. Of course it's just theorymalifaux, I haven't played with the Ressers yet, but this seems the best strategy against guild. Correct me if I'm wrong
  8. I don't see what's wrong with these minis, they're great for playing. Nice variation of colors, good shading... The bases seem a bit plain to me (a swampy base or even some grass would make the look of your gremlins even better), but otherwise they're pretty good.

I've only played a few games with my Witch Hunters crew so far, but I want to expand them and try this list when I have the time to play again: 30 SS LadyJ w 6 SS Student of Conflict (when Wyrd finally release it) 4 SS Samael 8 SS 2 Witchling Stalkers 2x4 SS 2 Death Marshals 2x4 SS Any opinions?

  12. You can cast it on your models, because the wording don't say enemy models only. Also, the rulebook says that you can attack your own models, except your master.
  13. This list could be fun against a Zoraida list with Bad Juju..
