  1. And I was avoiding buying these... argghhh! Back to the online store!
  2. The sewer board portion of the table is almost complete... This is going to great fun!
  3. Absolutely. Nubes are always welcome. Ok, with one condition, just make sure you have a basic grasp of what's happening. Here's why... If you stink and your opponent beats you badly, that's part of playing in a tournament and getting experience. If you drag down the event for your opponent, well, that's another issue all together. Soooo... make sure you know the basics. For the tournament players who are very SERIOUS about tournaments, please remember, your list can be tough as nails, but you SHOULDN'T BE!!! #1 rule for our event is "HAVE FUN!!!" Also tournament point - If you do use a fate deck in sleeves, please understand if there are tears or rips, or other markings on the sleeves, you may be asked to remove your deck from them should an issue arrise.
  4. I agree with your thought, even if it's just a list like "other" companies do/did. A list of store names, address, state and phone would be great. With the size of the game, we wouldn't need the extra columns explaining what is available and how large the stock is. This could be as easy as a Google doc Henchmen help complete and then it grows as retailers notice they aren't on the list.
  5. For Jersey, if you are on Facebook, go to NJ Gamer - it's a facebook group for gamers to reaach out and find more gamers... We'll be pushing Malifaux more in the next two months at some of our stores, but if you see a store you recognize, let me knwo and we can meet up a few nights. Also, we're setting in motion plans for Malifaux at Warstore Weekend - so keep that in mind!
  6. Do you ever make it to Jersey? I frequent a few stores in the Parsippany area. you can find me at NJ GAMER on Facebook. -Len
  7. Hi all, If you are from New Jersey, please check out "NJ Gamer" on Facebook. In addition to posting area events for Malifaux on the WYRD forums, area stores also post their events there, and usually try to send out "invites" for their events.
  8. A gamer at my local store has been working on a So'mer Teeth Jones Outcast crew. Take a look at the pics. He made the top hat "like velvet", reworked the medals on the hat with the metal foil from wine bottles, and added a custom "green stuff" snake to the base! Oh, and let's not forget the REAL rope he added holding the boot together! Chris is also know at the store for creating an Outhouse for his Outcasts with TWO-ply toilet paper included! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1064482&op=1&o=all&view=all&subj=202047999287&aid=-1&oid=202047999287&id=1220988359#/photo.php?pid=1064482&op=1&o=all&view=all&subj=202047999287&aid=-1&oid=202047999287&id=1220988359&fbid=134502398
  9. This thread is fresh on my mind as I have a ton of projects on hold due to the 19 degree weather this week. I have primed in my garage often, using my t-shirt as a mask. Usually, I am fine and the mini's come out as well. However, if it is REALLY cold, as in you can't stand being in the garage, I would wait for a warmer day. Me, I'm waiting for a 30 degree day which means my garage will be 40 or so...
  10. When Battlefoam first came out, I picked up one of their larger bags. I can carry over 3000 points of miniatures from Warhammer 40k without a problem in the bag. Having said that, I am a true Sabol fan for my quick trips to the store for gaming, but for travel to weekend events where I need large amounts of models... I have even - hold your breath - checked the battle foam bag, and had no problems with miniatures upon landing! The only thing I missed that trip was the look I get from security when they ask me to open the bag for them. ;-)
  11. A gamer at my store built a wooden outhouse for the gremlins... he even put a small roll of toilet paper in side... watch out for splinters... I will try and get a photo to load...
