    Best board. If you are interested in entering a board/table for this I need to know by 17th October to plan space at the venue - and order a trophy!

    Best costume. Just a reminder that there will be a competition for the best dressed 'cosplay' on Saturday morning. So arrive as your favourite character!

    As we've hit 90 players and with only 8 weeks to go, I'll be posting a bit more about the event.

    As this is a premium event all models must be painted. 

    Proxies and conversions for not yet released sculpts must reflect the intended model, and be agreed with me in advance. Note that this includes the new Title Masters, i.e. you cannot count the old sculpt as the new title, though you may convert of course.

    If you want to add in theme models to Nightmare crews please contact me.

    Finally, there will be awards for the best painted crews.

    Excellent visit to the venue today. We have exclusive use of a large bright space, with a bar, lots of outside space and adjacent free parking. 

    We discussed some ideas on catering which I'll share shortly for your feedback.

    Attendee numbers are increasing steadily to a point where I can start considering swag, but would love to see those numbers increase towards the 100 target.

  12. Through The Barricades - Daventry - 3rd September

    Following the success of Into The Badlands in June, with its Badlands theme, the next event at Battlefield Hobbies will focus on the Quarantine Zone.

    This event will follow the usual 3 round format with all players welcome. GG3 will be used.

    Tickets are £12.50. Limit is 40 players. SOLD OUT.

    The UK Nationals is back, and in line with the renewed interest in Malifaux is aiming to be bigger and better than ever. 106 places available. 

    We have a new venue with increased capacity & space, refreshments and a bar. We return to 7 games in line with the expected increase in numbers that should again make this the world's biggest Malifaux tournament.

    By popular demand after my last event I've booked 2 more dates at Battlefield Hobbies. The first of those is Into The Badlands which will follow the usual format but I'll probably theme the terrain around badlands, bayou and frontier towns.

    The usual 3 round fixed faction ("Single") format will be used, and expect the normal friendly environment and challenging games. Entry is £12.50 payable in advance, limit is 32 36 40 players.
