This year's event will celebrate 15 years of Malifaux with a new modern spacious venue, and potentially the biggest Malifaux tournament ever.
We have moved to Leicester De Montfort University to provide a larger, better-equipped venue. Although this has increased the operating costs (hence a ticket price hike), on the positive side there will be a cheap bar and the venue is in walking distance of a wide range of accommodations and eating options. Transport links are also good.
In addition, it will host the Avatar of Artistry painting competition, building on last year's expansion to this aspect of our favourite game.
As usual I will be seeking sponsorship from related companies, and including a charity raffle.
Everything you need to know can be found on the UK Nationals website including rulespack, ticket link, and venue information.

Still 1 place remains for this

Models from Ashes of Malifaux will be legal IF they are available physically (book or cards) or in the M3E app by Saturday 9th March.
Home printed cards are acceptable. All models should have a physical card, even if you track everything on the app.

Haul of Eggs is my long-standing Easter-themed tournament, which this year is returning to it's original home of Wargames Workshop in Milton Keynes. The store has recently expanded and can now host a 40 player event. It also has decent coffee, snacks, a bar and a massive range of wargames, board games and card games, plus some geek stuff as well. It is adjacent to a Tesco Extra, and has multiple eating options within a very short walking distance. Oh yes, and free parking too.
Format will be Fixed Faction, Singles, with 3 rounds. Prize support by Wyrd, plus a War Rooster, Easter Eggs and a few extras as well including some swag.
Tickets are £15, payment details (along with all other info) are in the rulespack https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qnpojia509mrsxmltvows/Rules-Pack-Haul-of-Eggs10-Mar24_v2.pdf?rlkey=zpcj2wj1zsolqem1zdduilb9c&dl=0

Based on feedback from previous events it is proposed to have this year's social at the Queen Eleanor pub/restaurant which is adjacent to the Premier Inn Northampton South (Wootton) on the A45 on the edge of Northampton.

Therefore people might like to stay here rather than the one at Harpole used previously https://goo.gl/maps/dsqb8jRPktPP4qL8A

Reminder. Food and drink. The venue has a bar on SATURDAY ONLY, serving alcohol, hot and cold drinks, snacks and cakes. Please make use of it as otherwise we may get charged. There will be tea and coffee available on Sunday via me.
As there is no other food on site I recommend getting your lunch on the way to the venue, or you will need a car to pop out over lunchtime. See map on the website. https://uk-nationals.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/UKN23-Food-Map.jpg- 1

To speed up registration on Saturday you can now pre-register on Bag O Tools. https://bag-o-tools.web.app/
If you have not used this tournament software before you will need to create a profile first, then register for the event, including your faction.
If you cannot pre-register, don't worry, this can happen on the day.

Based on last year, and recognising that everyone's accomodation is spread over a wide area, I'm not going to try and organise a big Saturday social on Saturday. However, for those staying in Newark I'll book a large table at the same Indian restaurant we used last year, which was very good. Hopefully some of the overseas players will join as I know they are staying locally. If interested post here or DM me and I'll maintain a list here for convenience.

Sharing a rented car?
Hi all other participants flying in via London Stansted for UK Nationals on friday. Ill be flying in from Denmark on the afternoon on friday the 17.
Im thinking about renting a car. Does anybody fancy renting a small car together with me so its cheaper for both of us ? I will be staying at the Premier Inn so that should be quite close to the venue. It looks as if two people shared a car it would be much cheaper (and faster) than going by train with the added convenience of having a car for the duration of the weekend.
Let me know
/Christian Givskov
Hi. @King of Draconis is also travelling alone, so may be worth contacting him (Tamas).

The biggest event in the global Malifaux calendar is back, and aiming to be the biggest ever. Overseas players are very welcome and travel from London by train has been considered.
