Nice start there man! What is the basing material for the Pandora Crew and the Killjoy? Looks like resin from the pics, but I can't tell. I am looking for something similar for my Rasputina set after I finish my Guild.

No kidding slick? I never pictured you for the classical type. I listen to everything except rap/country, but 80% of the time I listen to classical. I played violin and cello growing up, daughter plays both now, and I work part time as a luthier in one of the best violin shops in St. Louis now. Awesome... you guys are the first store in the StL area to carry Malifaux that I am aware of. Some of the other shops on this side of the river are looking into it after we have been talking it up since GenCon, but glad to see you guys jumping in the deep pool so to speak! I might have to drag some guys over there soon and help alleviate some of that excess stock for you!

Yeah I am definitely getting the Sonnia boxset soon. I just have to paint up a boxset before I buy another one. So she is next after I paint up LJ's. The most likely Victoria's Boxset to get some outcasts!

cool... Went with Lady Justice for now since I primarily play against McMourning and his cohorts moreso than Arcanists. I will be adding them all over the next month or so... not to worry!

So I have played just a handful of games now, still learning the game as well as my Ortega boxset. However the Ortegas are fully painted now, so it is time to add another boxset / few minis to the collection. Since I am broke lately like everyone it seems... haha... and I can't buy the entire range all at once, I am adding a new boxset as I paint the existing one. I am looking for advice on which to add to my Ortegas first> Sonia or Lady Justice, and 1-2 Mercs / individual figs? Thanks!

My only complaint is a very minor one... Scale of models within the same line. In my Ortega boxset, you seem to have three scales of figs. Fransisco and Nino are the smallest, Loco and Perdita are normal, and Santiago is flippin' huge! However... that is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Hell yeah.. nice to see you around here too r2-j1!! It's been a long time no doubt. Not sure if I ever told you, your Taxi-Jacks back a few years ago are what inspired me to start pushing the boundaries of my own painting skills to where they are pretty decent today when I take the time to work on a "show piece". I still have a lot to work on to get to your level, but you pushed me in that direction. Funny now I am pulling it back to get stuff on the game table instead of being chained to the painting table. haha Good to see you here man... this game is bringing out the finest gamers I know.

Heya Mingo... er.. Sasquatch! How you doing man. Was good to see you at GenCon as well. That was a last minute decision to make it up for Saturday, but well worth it as I got a head start on my Mal stuff. I am ordering a new bosxet and a couple individual figs from the Wyrd Store in about 5 minutes as well. Thanks everyone else too! It is good to be back actually. The hiatus was good to recharge the batteries, so now I am geared up and ready to kick some ass again.

haha.. yeah I was trying to figure out where to put it, so I "strapped" it to his left shoulder. Put a touch of green stuff around it to look like a strap, and painted it there. In his mouth would have been PERFECT though... hmmm... Might have to tear it off and see if I can do that. haha

Hey everyone! I have been out of gaming for the past 3 years or so until I started talking to Keltheos about this new game he has been working on... Malifaux... He got me excited about it, some locals helped fuel the fire as well... and Malifaux has brought back into the world of gaming again. So, those that know me, sorry... I am back. The rest of you have been warned.

haha... thanks for allthe comments guys... even snakeking. Yeah I am still hovering around StL and terrorizing game stores here. WM is on the back burner until Jan, but even then it is going to take a back seat to Malifaux. Malifaux is my fav game now.

Those that know me, know I took a few years off from gaming. Of course that included painting as well. Thanks to Malifaux I am back in the game and loving it! So this time around, I am changing my painting style. I used to spend 8+ hours on a fig painting it to painting event quality... yeah... no longer. I actually want to enjoy my painted figs on the table one day. So I am adopting a new style that will get them painted, look decent on the table top, and get me in the game more rather than chained to the painting desk. So here goes! Sorry for the crappy pic... will try to get some better ones at work later this week in our photo booth.

Ditto! An awesome game that I am getting more excited about every time I talk about it, read about it, play it, think about it... hmm.. that is enough I think. It was great to catch up with Kel at GenCon as well.
