Sonnia rocks. I got Perdita first, but I almost like Sonnia and her crew better..choices!

I've already got Sonnia, I don't think any local players have Lady J. I also think as far as the Guild goes, you absolutely need the Executioner and a merc or two. I took Hans and the Convict Gunslinger to round out my guys.

I was thinking of adding the Convict Gunslinger to them at 35 points, since he seems to really help with card control, but maybe an Executioner would be a better fit, since the Ortegas don't really have a beatstick of their own.

It would break my heart too.

They seem to be a very strong crew, but is their lack of soulstones a real disadvantage? I've lost both games I've played with them; I know part of that is my being new to the game, but it seems that the other side always has a significant advantage in soulstones, and that can wreck a crew pretty quickly, even one as strong as Perdita. Any suggestions? I've been using Companion as much as I can when it seems appropriate, as well as trying to use some card control, but that only goes so far, especially when some factions/crews can have the full eight stones in a scrap, compared to Perdita's two. I'm sure there are ways around that, as well-balanced as this game is, so I wanted to get some thoughts on how best to use the Ortega crew.

Absolutely man, I'd like to make them all; after looking, I really don't think it would take too long to do them all, since there's not a bunch that have lasting effects that need tokens.

I always enjoy creating my own templates and tokens for games that don't have them, so I started making mine last night, beginning with Sonnia's Flame Burst templates. I know Wyrd is doing their own, but thought I'd throw these out there in case anyone wanted to use them; I'll have templates/tokens for Ortegas and Sonnia's crew done hopefully by next week. They can also be used for her Flame Wall, or any other generic 50mm templates.

Yes, in all honesty, we've had a great time playing, and it was an absolute pleasure to meet all of you at Indy. We've had next to no issues grasping the rules, the miniatures all look fantastic, and the theme/game play is so different from anything else out there. I look forward to seeing what comes next from you guys, between the new models and the nifty idea for templates/tokens.
