  1. Atacarn, They are looking pretty slick. My only comment would be stylistic, Although you did a GREAT job on the white on the Judges coat I think he should be a bit grimier. His white coat looks pretty clean all in all.
  2. I may be able to incorporate this into my piece for Rotten Harvest. But if not I'll do a special figure up just for it. Then again maybe not, it pays to read the rules before I go about starting to talk about what I may or may not do for Rotten Harvest.
  3. I'll take that as a personal challenge. Photo is already saved to the hard drive and a copy printed out. I think I've even got the figure for it
  4. The painting is Fantastic Rusto! The metaliics are superb and the tattoo work on the female is really crisp
  5. I can only take so much credit for the snake on the base. It's part of the sculpted base, one of Reaper's fairly old metal bases. But I'll take full credit for the painting! Peterdita, There is a down side to having a wife that is into minis. Then she keeps asking you to paint stuff for her
  6. Hey guys, Just finished and photoed up another piece for my wife. The Nyss Sorceress from the Privateer Press Iron Kingdoms line. She wanted this fig for use as a druid in a savage tides campaign so the colors are tilted towards a more Caribbean theme. Couple of issues that I'm less than 100% pleased with, particularly the face. The sculpt really obscures the face and makes it a bit difficult to paint. That being said I am really pleased with the Non-Metallic Metal I did on her.
  7. Hinton, I like the scheme on the figure especially the white skin. It's a stark deviation from what I expect on the devlish figure. But the skin looks pretty flat, like it needs more contrast between the highlights and shadows
  8. Glad to hear all minis are welcome, as my current "to be painted" pile consist of mostly Reaper, Privateer and Infinity. I'll have to get around to my Wyrd Sculpts sooner rather than later I'm just not sure what colors I want to use yet. I should have some more up in the next few weeks. I'm really trying to improve my painting skills and I'm a fiend for feedback. Hinton, do you spot anything on the fig that just doesn't sit right? I've got some ideas of how I might have done things differently after I was finished but it sounds like something on the fig just doesn't sit right for you. Skrivanek. More Contrast huh? I'll show you more contrast! Frustrated Father, by a touch finer do you mean the edges could be more crisp or the lines themselves could be more narrow I'm not sure what you mean exactly
  9. Well Skrivanek has directed me back on to these forums after I've been gone for a while and I figured I might as well drop back in with a picture of some recent work. Check the link below for a bigger version in my Gallery. She's from Reaper's Dark Heaven Line but I understand that non-Wyrd miniatures are welcome here too. Comments, critiques and suggestions are always welcome http://wyrd-games.net/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=2407&ppuser=1151
