  1. chaosbruten = spawns hm, yeah nice stuff somelace, but I'm just overfed with that shiny, plastic powerranger-wannabe-Style GW is pulling off recently (means for some yeras now...)
  2. I added a new miniature to my webshop: The Cook! It's in 28mm-Scale and a one-piece miniature. He costs 4,00 €.
  3. Next to my toilet there's a whole shelf of Mickey Mouse and other comics. Just the best read when one is... In one of those I also discovered a great Mickey Mouse Story with loads of cool fanatsy elements. It's now on my desk and I surely will draw some inspiration from there. Other than that I really like the McFarlane-Style and old classics from France, such as Asterix or Valerian and Veronique (Real great Sci-Fi stuff!)
  4. I chose Civil Service, too. I have to say it really helped me a lot and I had a more than great trime doing so! We were about 40 "Civics" in this School for retarded children. It was there I chose to become a teacher, so I found it helpful. I do not think it is a waste of time. When coming out of school, most of the people do not really know either what real life is like or what they want to do with it the rest of their life. Especially in my studies I find it mostly to be the girls, who just have no clue of what's going on in the real woreld. They just came out of School (a well-caredsurrounding) into studies (also not to badly-cared). I also had a couple of friends where I can just say that military service has put their head right baclk between their shoulders. One of them is doinga brilliant job at a bank now, after school I wouldn't have lent him an Euro. I think the system is quite good. In my opinion, civil service for both sexes should be compulsory, with the possibility ofr choosing Military Service instead. The Civil Service should last about a year. It's a good way of getting orientation in life. And: Especially women should do it, too! Just met too many female students who are still believing school WAS RL. They never saw anything else.
  5. Between moving furniture and renovating my place, I found some time to finish him! I really like him and hope to get him cast soon. Just trying a new caster... So here is the finished result, please do let me know what you think!
  6. Okay, here is my "poll". In a historical forum (Geramny-based) I put fuel into a burning fire. As some of the self-claimed experts agreed on the fact that in 28mm-scale the painting of eys with pupils etc. is not only unnecessary, but completely ridiculous and only for those, who have no idea of how to paint properly. I then mentioned, I supected that these kind of arguments mostly come from those, who are more than fustrated with their inability concernig painting eyes. Oh, I should have kept quiet. Now I am the black man of the game Well, could be worse... So then: Is it okay or even necessary to paint eyes on 28mm Miniatures?

  14. This order from Fox is a hoax. I am right now OUT OF STOCK, but will be recast. (That was quick... cannot believe it) I think it'll take a week or so to get new castings, maybe a bit longer (depends on my caster).
