  1. Is there any chance that you can get any of the Ravage special editions from 6 up?

  2. I'd forgotten that was even there Anima Tactics is on the list. We have at least 3 new lines coming in for Salute though so will be after the show.
  3. 3 reasons. 1. I used to be a rogue trader store and GW are a pain to deal with. 2. You can get GW online anywhere, I'd rather concentrate on things less easy to find. 3. Now I've got so many non GW lines in I don't have space to stock GW properly even if I wanted to and I would never prioritise them above our existing lines. We do however sell second hand GW stuff at the store for the local kids and gaming groups. After Salute I'll probably be putting up an 'Artemis Black Market' page for such things - basically anythign we buy in will get given x weeks at the store and if no locals are interested I'll add it to the site. And glad you got your stuff
  4. As a quick example, take a look at this thead from CMON forums.. http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=12230 ... apart from the opinion of a number of professional sculptors that some of the details, in particular the boots and faces, are steps ahead of the rest of the miniature take a good look at the last photo - a soldier next to half a green. Then take a look at this page from Hornet's site... http://www.greenwichgateway.com/hornetandwolf/Hornet/headsets/pages/HGH01.htm ... particularly the head on the far left.
  5. Certainly. Back when he was just doing conversions and flogging them on Ebay he happily admitted to illegally press moulding GW terminator captain heads for his minis because he couldn't sculpt faces (or much else at the time). Then when too many people started pointing out that it was illegal his next round of conversions claimed he'd sculpted the head from scratch - even though it was the 'exact' same head. He has since gone back and wiped his own comments from all his old CMON pieces but there are screen grabs and plenty of old forum threads which quote it and him. He also press moulded Hornet figures and claimed he'd sculpted them himself when he attempted to release some polish soldier figures. If you look at his actual miniature line and check the heads on his early figures, a dwarf, two servitors, the guy on the back of the big boar rider and others, they all have the same head and it bears an absolutely uncanny resemblance to the same terminator head he'd previously admitted to pirating. Ashis sculpting shows serious weak points across the line but oddly sharp details elsewhere then I simply no longer trust 'anything' he puts out. As far as I'm concerned there is more than enough evidence to come to the conclusion that he's a thief and a pirate. As such I will never do business with him and as someone who makes his living from the business I won't just sit idly by while somebody does it as the next time it could be any other company who sees something remarkably similar to one of their own parts show up in a Scibor mini.
  6. Whoa, freaky. I just came over here from Frothers where I said... "Hmm, if I get them in I might use them as prizes for painting competitions. Whadya think?"
  7. We do take requests for new lines btw. The more people request a line the quicker it moves up the list to being stocked so don't be shy about e-mailing me and politely complaining that I don't stock X
  8. Scibor is a thief and a liar, anyone buying anything from him is supporting the theft of other sculptors works plain and simple.
  9. The casting is very good but the moulding can be a little off sometimes. We let customers know that for the multi part figures they might need to use some filler or a file etc. - in the same way Heresy and some other companies warn people in advance. It's pretty random which minis you need to do it on. The Dire Wolves above are the size of small horses btw. I've put a bunch of size comparison up over on Frothers, if anybody is interested I can repost them here if you don't want to get 'Frothered' Or if anyone wants a specific size comparison pic I can do my best to accomodate depending what other minis I have at the store at the time.
