Answer 8: In a starter box set: Game board, Rulebook, enough puppets for 2 players, 2 decks of cards, Stat Cards, all needed tokens for 2 players. Then there will be 5 booster boxes as well at the same time to give you options or to expand to up to 6 players.

Answer 7: Prices aren't set in stone yet, but 40+ puppets plus all needed game materials should be around $200 retail. (you won't need that much to play, but if you're collecting... )

yep, it's basically been nothing but good for us, you, everyone! So we'll keep it as a company policy, that if we have something special at a convention, it's available online during the days of the convention...you just don't get the instant gratification

Answer 6: P-wars is far less "book" based than Malifaux, books are secondary to puppets.

Quality and activity of your local gaming forums?

This isn't helpful, but I feel your pain. I've always had a problem getting any real discussion going on a local level as it seems like there just simply has never been a critical mass who will stay involved enough to keep the conversation going. It seems like regional boards tend to do better, but I do know some local boards do just fine. Just not in my experience -
Ah, I love those stories where Malifaux helps get significant others into games. And surprising enough we hear that story quite a bit with Malifaux, so even better! I hope you both enjoy it, and extend our welcome to them as well. Great to have you here with us in the forums. Enjoy!
