Mister_Q
Sounds good, but be aware your final day (14 April) is also Leviathan, which may cause some conflicts.
DarthVallen
I know Mr. Q, I've already discussed it with the local Pressganger and other game runners and everything, it's just something we have to deal with, as local Privateer Press events have taken up our entire calendar for the year. Mister_Q
Well that's just inconsiderate of them.
Melideyna
Interesting, I've never seen this sort of format before. Still awesome though, nice excuse to get a new starter
DarthVallen
Or to start the game for the first time :1_Happy_Puppet1: Its a great event for both new gamers to start Malifaux and for seasoned gamers to try out a new starter box
Mister_Q
So how does it work? Do we turn up the first week with a starter box built and ready to play, or do we buy one there and get it ready for the next time? Is that 10am-5pm on the Wednesdays as well? DarthVallen
So how does it work? Do we turn up the first week with a starter box built and ready to play, or do we buy one there and get it ready for the next time? Is that 10am-5pm on the Wednesdays as well? Registration before 3rd of March gains you entrance to the door prize. Also, the store will be giving 10% off all Malifaux products purchased by league attendants during the league. There will also be a prize for the league champion and one for the tournament winner. Showing up with a starter box is fine, as well is the 'buy a new one and build it' option. Wednesdays will be from 10am til 5pm, but the store is open till 11pm on Wednesdays so late night gaming is also fine.
DarthVallen
To answer another person's question, if you already have a team painted or not that you would like to use, thats perfectly fine as well
Lord Shaper
To answer another person's question, if you already have a team painted or not that you would like to use, thats perfectly fine as well I'll have to see if I can get out there but I will be going to Qld for a couple of weeks after the 17th... Also I've been on a painting spree and I don't think I have any boxed sets unpainted so it's good that you can have something already painted heh

Mister_Q
Also I've been on a painting spree and I don't think I have any boxed sets unpainted so it's good that you can have something already painted heh Same here. I've just finished my Ortega crew and wasn't looking at starting another Malifaux crew just yet. I'm happy to turn up and play though! Although ... Hoffman's crew has been looking interesting ... and the new Nicodem models look good ... and ... and ... What about new figures for existing crews? There's new Ortega and Lilith stuff coming out that's definitely on my wish list.
DarthVallen
PLEASE NOTE ALL PLAYERS: Week 1 and 2 lists for the league MUST include all miniatures present in the starter box for the caster you are using. In Weeks 3 and 4 miniatures from the starter box can be rotated out for miniatures in the 15ss auxillary in your 50 points list. The tournament has no limitation on list
Melideyna
Ehhh, Witch-hunters... So painted, but Ressers have been left wanting for a while now.. I think the second week is when we're meant to be saying hello to new additions, if we're starting with a crew we already had.

Mister_Q
I won't be able to join in on this one. I've just renewed my work contract and what little painting time I have is going toward my Leviathan stuff. I'll try and drop in for a game or two though and to take a look at everyone's projects. DarthVallen
Saturday's Soulgrinder League had a great turn out! We had 10 players turn up and had a great day of Malifaux fun! The door prize was given to the winner of the pre-registration name draw and everyone had a fantastic time. I cannot wait for next Saturday and see even more people turn up! We even had some photos taken on the day that I'll be posting on this page shortly.
