Definitely in for this, glad to see it up so early.

My first ever was one of the Witchlings in the Witch Hunter Starter, which surprisingly didn't end up being a monstrosity. Good but not great.

Ehhh, Witch-hunters... So painted, but Ressers have been left wanting for a while now.. I think the second week is when we're meant to be saying hello to new additions, if we're starting with a crew we already had.

Interesting, I've never seen this sort of format before. Still awesome though, nice excuse to get a new starter

Majority of the time I've ended up going against Neverborn, seeing as they seem to be the only people who are ever up for a game :/ The +2 WP balances out the usual -2, irresistable or terrifying the big hitters have, like Nekima. Governor's Authority has proven useful in some cases too. Kind of difficult to get out of that rhythm. I was thinking of replacing the Executioner, as fun as he is when he hits and particularly with a Red joker; he is very squishy. Once again he's mainly gone against Neverborn, who are mostly lacking in the range department. Never thought of the Death Marshals though, cheers!

H-kay, I've been able to find ways around Lillith and her Nephilim, Rasputina and her Golems (well dur), Dreamer and LCB but I've had nothing but issues with the melee beasts that are the Viktorias. Recently adding the Executioner as a sort of bodyguard for Sonnia has given them some pause but they *still* managing to cause me problems. Here are my lists: 35 SS Sonnia Criid Sammael Hopkins -8 Executioner -7 Guild Austringer -5 Witchling Stalker x 2 -8 Governors Proxy -2 Left with beefy 8 SS 25 SS Sonnia Criid Executioner -7 Guild Austringer -5 Witchling Stalker x2 -4 Governor's Proxy -2 7 SS not bad for Sonnia These lists naturally change with the amount of SS we play with but back to my point. Does anyone have any tips or strategies that I've missed? I really want to oust the Viktorias!

Hi all, Let me first say that Malifaux is the first Miniature game that I have ever taken part in, all at the advent of our first local store. (We originally had to take an hour long train trip to get to our closest one) Admittedly I took it up while my friends insisted on buying other (considerably more expensive) games, leaving me bereft of any starting games at my local Store for a few months but I did get to learn the rules inside and out in the mean time. Suppose that's a plus :S. I've always been a talented hand at drawing and painting on canvas but getting these minis also revealed my steady hands were good for painting minis better than friends who've been into miniatures for much longer. The inherent aesthetic of Malifaux also made me enjoy the game even more. I've now gotten my first set (Sonnia Criid's Witchhunters) fully painted and with it; sit fairly comfortably on top of our Store's First Malifaux Tourney list. Starting to make headway into play-testing and painting up Ramos and his crew. I think that's ample intro Talk to you when I talk to you! M
