EnternalVoid Posted March 4, 2018 Report Share Posted March 4, 2018 No, you can still attempt actions even if you have no skill in them, and Pugilism, Martial Arts, and Grappling can be done with no weapons. Just with a skill of 0 these attacks have a pretty poor damage track. With a 0 in the Skill, Martial Art and Pugilism have a 0/1/2 damage spread. Grappling has a 0/0/1. Getting at least a rank 1 in Martial Arts or Pugilism at least nets you a 1/2/3 damage spread. So if he is not keen on getting a weapon I would suggest to him at least try to get a rank in Martial Arts or Pugilism so he at least has something. Of course he could always be a support character, doing stuff like Impose, different buffs, and the like from behind his buddies to try and help out but if you have a small group it might leave them vulnerable to lucky damage flips. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
