Kaeris: immolate and flame wall markers vs counters

right so this i what i have worked out so far:

the markers produced by flame wall and killing a model with immolate are not terrain but they are hazardous.

so does the "Models killed by hazards do not leave corpse or scrap counters because when you drop your keys in something nasty like lava, they are gone, man!" apply?

also on a side note can kaeris reduce models to 0 wounds with her resource management?

There are at least three or four threads about the flame markers from immolate but unfortunately the RMs have avoided them for the past nine months or so. Best I can figure is that the "Markers" are not effects so they are not removed at the end of the turn. Anything that dies in the marker does not drop a counter. Damage from the marker is taken as soon as the marker is placed. However this last bit has never been confirmed because there are no rules specifying when a model counts as "entering" the hazard.

I see no reason why you cannot kill your one model. You cannot kill your self with her card draw ability.

Wow i didn't realise the immolate markers stuck around i must say i thought it a bit odd that flame wall states when the markers go and immolate didn't

Yeah in the errata they define what an effect is and isn't and Markers as not being an effect. Because its not an effect it dosent resolve as normal.
