mattausten86
I used him at 50 yesterday,he worked out pretty well, but I'm still thinking his SS cost is too steep for that size game. whats everyone's opinion on using this fella at or over 50ss?? cheers matt
JohnOSpencer
I've used him at 25. You just need to make him part of your overall strategy at lower points. I tend to have Johann go headlong toward the enemy and deliver beatings until he dies and then, with his Slow to Die, I summon Killjoy and he mops up. Pox
regularly use him at 35ss. Actually find it HARDER to use him effectively in bigger games (more then 50 for example) as their is more people who can target him and thus take him out a whole lot quicker before he can activate and eat his fill (or after he has activated) As he is large it is also easier to shoot him in combat and with his low df.... with less models on the board, killjoy becomes a lot meaner in small point games and can really dominate - you just have to watch out for their master/soulstone user so you need something else that can distract/threaten that target to draw the heat from him. Use him a lot with lilith who can do her -2df aura (no resist) and then killjoy is effectively CB9 to anyone in that area which is brutal! now all wyrd need to do is make him a master option... Murray
I too have had some success with him at lower ss levels (25-30) in my Levi crew (dead dog, 3xNecropunk and Killjoy) He makes a great deterrent against people attaching the Nercopunks in destroy the evidence and the like
