Every Halloween All About Games hosts a Halloween party. This year we will be combing it with a Malifaux Achievement Tournament. The actual party doesn't start until after closing but to give you as much time as possible to play the tournament will start at 10AM and continue until they kick us out. There will be a $5.00 entrance fee that will be used for prizes. Winner will be determined by who has the most achievement points. Ties will be broken by number of games played. If still tied then it will be number of wins.

Achievement Tournament Turn-In Sheet

Each achievement can only be earned once during the Tournament. Please have your opponent initial each achievement earned during the game. Each is worth 1 point unless otherwise indicated.

Game Setup

o Play a 20ss Scrap

o Play a 25ss Scrap

o Play a 30ss Scrap

o Play a 35ss Scrap

o Play a 40ss Brawl (worth 2 points)

o Play a 50ss Brawl (worth 4 points)

Victory Conditions

o “Wooden Spoon”: Lose all games in this event (worth 4 points)

o “Short and Sweet”: Play AND win a 5ss Scrap, no henchman models allowed

o “Defeat PugWhan”: Win a 25ss scrap against the area Henchman (worth 3 points)

o “Youth and Skill”: Defeat an opponent that is twice your age (worth 2 points)

Deployment

o Flip and play Diagonal Deployment

o Flip and play Corners Deployment

o Flip and play Standard Deployment

o “Do what now?”: Let your opponent deploy your crew (worth 2 points)

Strategies

o “Not Again”: Reflip your strategy at the cost of a Soulstone

o “Da Black Jokah!”: Allow your opponent to select your strategy

o “Explorer”: Play 5 different strategies throughout the event

o “Sharing is Caring”: Win a Shared Strategy game

o “Wait, what are we doing?”: Win a game without earning any VP towards your strategy

Schemes

o “Deux Complete”: Achieve 2 Schemes in a game

o Skip 1 Scheme for 2 additional soulstones

o “Scheming for a them” : Play 1 game taking your Master's specific scheme and your faction specific theme

o “Schemer”: Never take the same scheme twice for this event, AND play at least 4 games throughout the day (worth 4 points)

Crew Building

o “Overthrown”: Change your crew leader at least once during the event

o “Groupie”: Hire at least one of the same minion for all crews you used in this event

o “Brand Loyal”: Restrict yourself to hiring the box set, totems, and using models that were summoned during the encounter for a 25ss Scrap (worth 2 points)

o “Do what now?”: Pick your own master, and then let your opponent hire your crew for you (worth 3 points)

o “Henchman? Pshhhh”: Lead a crew with a Henchman as the master

o “Beat This!”: Show your opponent the crew you will be using prior to them picking a Faction, Master , and crew (worth 2 points)

o “Stuck in a Rut”: Use the same crew in all games. **Must be the exact same crew with no changes all day** (Worth 3 points)

o “Company Man”: Use no proxies in any game (worth 3 points)

o “Pretty”: Use only painted figures in all games **3 color minimum** (worth 3 points)

o “Mirror Match”: Play a game where both players hire their crews, then switch

Duels

o “Piglets can kill Masters!”: Flip a Red Joker on a -, - -, or - - - flip.

o “Fate Laughs”: Flip a Black Joker on a straight, +, or ++ flip

o “Mitigate your luck”: Cheat a duel result from a + or straight DG flip to a – flip

o “Stack your odds”: Cheat a duel to change the total from a – to a + flip

o “Can't win em all, might as well go out big!”: Purposely cheat down on a duel, resulting in the loss of the duel.

o “Fair and Square”: Successfully cast a spell that includes a suit requirement without cheating fate

o “Itchy fingers”: Declare 10 or more triggers in a single game

o “Sign of the Henchman”: Flip a Red and Black Joker in the same duel

In-Game Achievements:

o “Stealing Initiative”: Discard a SoulStone to reflip your initiative AND win initiative

o “Gambler”: Play an entire game with your hand face down. You can NEVER look at your hand, but you may still cheat fate and draw your hand each turn. (worth 3 points)

o “Bending!”: Attach an Avatar and manifest it during the encounter

o “Resolute”: Play past round 6 by flipping a 10+ to see if the game continues

o “Snipped the pony”: Eliminate all your opponent's models

o “I got snipped”: You have no models in play at the end of the encounter

o “Who needs Minions?”: Win the encounter with your master being your only friendly unit in play

o “Now this is a lousy hand”: Ensure that your hand at the end of the game contains at least 4 cards with a value less than 3.

o “First Blood!”: Be the first one to kill an enemy model in a game

Opponent Related

o “Crush the Governor”: Beat the Guild in a game

o “Get back in the grave”: Beat the Ressurectionists in a game

o “Magic is for Sissies”: Beat the Arcanists in a game

o “Crush the Natives”: Beat the Neverborn in a game

o “No Cash for you”: Beat the Outcasts in a game

o “Who are the new guys?”: Beat the 10 Thunders in a game
