Rameses
yes it worked! and I am now trying to get the the picture resized and figure out how to use the magic wand to include the area in the crook of her left arm and the axe along with the background all at once. hehe
Iamwyrd
Resizing is easy, just make sure her layer is selected. Then go to edit, free transform. It should bring up a box around her with four squares on the corners. Then hold shift and grab a box and drag it in or out to change her size. Then when you got it make sure to hit the checkmark at the top to keep it.
Rameses
Awesome thankyou so so very much. You've explained that in so much simpler terms than the photoshop website.
Iamwyrd
Well they probably would have taken you the clipping mask route. Which I use only if it is not a full color background because you will spend minutes trying to select every color with the magic wand tool. But if you have anymore questions feel free ti pm me. This is what I went to school for, though I still need to upgrade to cs6, I just don't have the funds right now. ---------- Post added at 01:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 PM ---------- And you're welcome, glad I could help.
