Sholto
I am using this guy in a tournament tomorrow, so I picked him up yesterday, assembled and painted him. The OSL is fairly subtle, so the cameraphone is not the best at picking up the colour variation (which is another way of saying it looks better in person!): One thing I have learned is that using proper airbrush paints (in this case Vallejo Air) makes a huge difference to the painting experience. Ordinary paints, even when thinned with the proper medium to the right consistency, still have a tendency to block the nozzle over a fairly short period of time. That includes using a drying retarder. Vallejo Air just keeps on going. It is like night and day - I need to get more of them! Oscilioth
That's a good looking model! I really like the tone of metal you've got going, and the OSL looks good from what I can see. Good stuff!
FoeRender
Looks good , but when time is available I think the main color can be broken up a tad more , maybe a different tone or color for the knee plates , the hoses in the waist , and maybe the claw . The OSL looks good.
Sholto
I agree the colour needs broken up a bit more, especially around the head. Thanks all
